Edgar Allan Poe: Tales of Mystery & Imagination (Franklin Library of Mystery Masterpieces)

This is a really beautiful book. I bought a used copy and aside from an inscription on the inside cover, it's almost like new.

I love the illustrations in this edition. My mom had this edition when I was young and I loved it. The illustration for The Pit and the Pendulum expresses the horror of the story extremely well. I unfortunately lost her copy sometime in high school and was happy to find the same edition here on Amazon. The binding holds up very well with these editions. The print is also easy enough to read (which isn't always the case with horror).

I love this edition

I bought this book for my wife for her birthday. The look on her face was priceless. She loves Poe and now has her first Leather-bound EAP book to go with her Leather-bound Mark Twain book. Next she needs an Anne Rice.
