Solid Hitbox Controller
This is the first hitbox controller I’ve ever had, and the second time I’ve purchased it. The first one, unfortunately, didn’t survive after a losing streak and lasted approximately one year. Despite being a bit squeaky, it is really sturdy and durable. It feels a lot better than a gamepad. The stock switches seem okay, but I would recommend Kailh Shadow Hunting switches or other low-profile alternatives as replacements. They make it easier to put less pressure on the keys when holding block compared to the original ones. Overall, I think this controller is great and does everything that it is supposed to do.

LED Lights on controllers are so freaking cool.
I received the Haute 42 Hautepad R16 relatively fast after I shipped it and man, it was pretty good. It has a pretty simple setup before getting the controller to work with your games. You might have to watch a (short) YT video about setting it up for your first time though as it comes with a piece of paper whose instructions leave a bit to be desired. After that (small) initial hurdle, you’re good to go. If you’re new to these type of controllers, keep in mind that they primarily work with 2D fighting games and if you try to get them to work with other genres of games (or even non 2D fighting games) you’ll either run into poor results/it not working at all. It’s decently heavy but not so heavy that you couldn’t carry it in a bag. Haute typically has smaller, lighter controllers if that’s more your speed. The Buttons are pretty responsive, not much delay between button press and action which is good. The LED monitor in the top left corner (and the LED buttons light up) perfectly displays what buttons you’re pressing. Also the LED lights are *chef’s kiss*. The design of it is slick and slim, pretty cool if ya ask me. I could definitely say it’s worth the price tag, but again if $100 is a money sink that you’re not willing to put forward, this same company has just as good options at lower price points [also might not have the cool LEDs :( ]

Light and sturdy.
Great product! Though it didn't make me any better at fighting games. Smh

First fightstick
This is my first fightstick and it came earlier than expected, thankful for that! The packaging was very minimal compared to the fightstick I bought for my girlfriend (8Bitdo SNES-style arcade stick); Just a cardboard box with bubble wrap packaging inside containing the hitbox, USB-C cord, instructions and additional accessories. Very easy to use once you read the instructions! It defaults into the Xbox/Windows/Steam profile so if you’re on that, it’s plug and play! If you’re on another device, I do recommend referring to the instructions. Functions great, buttons feel good after an hour or so of use, input feels solid. Construction is what you expect as the price point and thankfully not too much of a concern. Nothing came loose or broken but you can feel the acrylic cringe a bit if you bend the controller even slightly so I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS CONTROLLER IF YOU RAGE WHILE GAMING. Overall, solid controller for fighting games!

good hitbox fightstick
good Arcade Stick 1. space between the buttons are small, suitable to be pressed 2. too many buttons. you can set a lot of short cut if you like 3. not heavy 4. the size is suitable for hands But I could say you need a lot of time to use it well, not easy to handle a lot of buttons

Pretty good for the cash
I already had the s16 but I wanted smaller buttons and the left pinky L3 instead of a left thumb L3. Overall it’s a little lighter and flimsier than the s16 but the rims on the buttons feel better. My unit came a little bowed and I plan to get a metal bottom plate made for it, but for the money it’s pretty decent. The software is the same as any other gp2040-ce based controller, so you can basically make it do whatever you want from led configuration to bottom layout so long as you can google. I prefer acrylic tops to the all metal m+ series because I can show artwork, so I think I’ll stick with this even when that comes out. For under 75 bucks I don’t think you can really find an all button controller that’s better with the same features.

Excellent value -- with a smidge to look out for.
I'm coming from a G16 as I needed a bit more room for my hands to rest..and of course, for art. The buttons feel much nicer and properly arcade-like and I've noticed zero latency issues regarding input. I've been playing mostly DJMax and GGXXAC+. My R16 did arrived flexed slightly but, after asking a question I learned that the screws were over-torqued. If yours also arrives slightly bent, here's my suggestion to go alongside it: Loosen them all, fully remove them (the R16 should now be perfectly flat if laid down on a flat surface), then work the outermost ones in first -- use your fingers and a fingernail to gently snug it to the acrylic. If you feel it's still too loose, you can snug it with a flathead -- just be careful not to over-tighten as the acrylic may crack.

came out of box broken
Black one broken. Right button is always pressed. However returned and got the white one. Apon asking in the discord. This vendor produces the Black one thus the removal of the Haute42 logo. While the company produced the White one.

This thing is amazing
This thing is amazing - way more features than thought it would have. Top tier build quality, touch and feel is like a premium branded commercial gaming peripheral, but better. The onboard software lets you customise the behaviour of the buttons to suit your game and input preferences. It's not exactly idiot-proof levels of easy to use, but there's lots of tutorials around to make it easier. It also looks super cool on your desk and the little screen is a great touch. I'm playing 2XKO with it and it's fantastic. Absolutely recommend going stickless if you're using something else and give this one a really good consideration.

Dategli tempo!!

Great leverless but protect the USB c port
I'm satisfied with this R16 from Sehawei, you do have to update the firmware but the controller is great much better than a pad. Using it for Tekken with PC. You should buy a USB C to USB C adapter to protect the port where ur cable plugs in because it can wear out fast.
