Amtech I0635 52 Piece 1/4" and 3/8" 12 Point Socket Set

A very good value for money kit comprising all the popular sized sockets for maintenance work on a bicycle or moped. Comes nicely packed in a permenant blown plastic storage case and offers great service at a very reasonable cost. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These seem to be a good quality set of sockets for the price. They are made of drop forged chrome and not chrome vanadium steel but seem to be solid for the price. The storage rack is very flimsy as is the spring clips that hold on the sockets but the sockets themselves look well made and fit snugly into a 3/8" driver. They are full hexagonal shaped to reduce the chance of rounding off a nut and I have experienced no problems so far. A useful addition to the toolbox.

Did get the right item. Invoice said socket set but I got Pruners lol. So I was going to send it back but I am going to give them to a friend with a garden as I can't fix a bike with pruners. So I got a socket set from a different company.

Not being a day to day mechanic I just needed this set for the odd job. I have been nicely surprised that it is certainly meeting all of my needs, with a big variety of pieces, covering all bases - and better than "good enough" quality.The spring loaded mechanism that holds each socket is not the absolute best, however this will not be a problem for anyone but the most regular user I think. I just took a little more care as I worked.One thing to mention is that there is 1x midi extension bar, and not a long one included so if you are working around awkward corners under the car bonnet perhaps you may find you want to purchase one.

You can tell it's a cheap set however it did the job i needed without too much hassle.A decent selection of sizes and worked nicely taking my washing machine to pieces.I'd recommend this is you're on a budget and only plan on using it for a couple of jobs. If it's something you'll be using all the time then do buy a better set.

Does what it should, not sure how much abuse it can take under heavy use, but feels sturdy enough for DIY use

Great value , I needed a, 36 mm and 41 mm sockets, it was cheaper to buy this whole set than individual sockets. Set works well, I have had to torque some large nuts up and sockets performed well.

Unfortunately had to return the item as the ratchet broke on first use - looks to be a good set however no use with a broken ratchet - would be ok if you don’t want to put much load on them
