Beautiful clock arrived nicely packaged with no damages. I will be returning it I thought it was large enough to go above my sofa. I just need a clock a little larger.

Update... clock just fell of the wall it’s been hanging on since being purchased. The plastic hanger just failed. Broke the clock and several pictures it took with it on its way down. I’m not happy. See attached picture of the failed hanging mechanism.This is a very nice looking clock. Its large and bold and looks great on the wall. It is in fact silent, which i didn't care about when I ordered it but have noticed since hanging it. The only thing is that it doesn't have a second hand.

Opened box and there were no instructions for the clock. Minute hand was protected by plastic cover with a small plastic zip lock 2×3 plastic bag. Enclosed was a black pin, with a white plastic piece with 2 sharp needles on each end. Remember no directions, used my common sense and placed minute hand and placed black pin in screw assembly. Hour hand was floppy and couldn't get it tight. Put in AA battery in place and called customer service from Amazon. They were amazing! By the time I texted them with my number they returned my call. I explained the problem and she suggested that they would send a replacement if I wanted. The CS rep ordered another one. Low and behold the hands on the clock became tight. I set the time and it is working. Tried to cancel the replacement clock so I'll see if I get another one tomorrow. I U-Tubed troubleshotting the clock and still don't know what that white piece of plastic with the sharp needles is for. The clock is basically for decoration on my mantel. I just painted my accent wall dark teal green. The only problem with the clock is you can't see the time because the hands are black on such a dark background. But that is my fault. Maybe I will paint the tips of the hands gold so I can tell the time. Amazon your customer service ROCKS!

Be careful when you are ready to hang this clock. The hands on the clock are very fragile and you could get them bent and stuck then the clock will get stuck and not read the correct timey.

I would have preferred a 24 inch, it looks smaller than the picture. Nice looking. Not too heavy for wrought iron. I'm happy with my purchase.

As far as looks go, I loved this clock. Perfect size for where I needed it. However, the clock would only run for 5 hours and then I would have to change the battery again. Idk if I just happened to get a defective item or if this is an ongoing problem with this product. Good luck!

The entire clock including the hands are black and it is difficult to read the time
