Great comfort for a day in the field.
Been using this for about 8 weeks now, (2 festivals and spectating local footy matches). I’m 6’5” with minor lower lumbar problems from a previous life playing rugby. The sit pack is good and has improved my general comfort, especially on wet days when you can’t sit on the grass. I’ve found it very stable and can’t believe some of the previous reviewers had problems. You can adjust your (bum) position and trial and error will eventually get you into your most comfy position. No probs putting up or down, and fits neatly into side mesh pocket of backpack, so can easily be pulled out without the need to take backpack off or rummage around inside. Only issue is the rubber stopper pushed through at a festival last weekend, and I found myself slowly sinking into grass. Please can you send me a new stopper and it will definitely be a 5/5 from me.30.12.20 They sent me 2 x new stoppers, so full marks. :)

Not for us
Although very nicely made, we struggled with the extend and collapsing of this stick. It felt unsafe to sit on, indeed it is really only meant to lean against, the round top is slippy though it does come with stick ons to help with this. A really good idea that sadly didn’t work for us.

Not for prolonged use
Novelty wore off when I actually used it for its intended purpose. I have a standing desk and having spent so much money on it, I didn't want to have to splash out in a leaning/standing seat too. Thought this fitted the bill. It's surprisingly sturdy and takes my weight (85kg) at the oddest of angles but boy do my sit bones feel it pretty swiftly.

This is dangerous!
The concept is excellent but that's as far as it goes. The six telescopic sections are twist locked. If any of these twists it unlocks and you end up on your back. Any under-locking (not quite tight enough) and when your weight is applied the seat sinks...again you end up on your back. The manufacture of the parts is very sturdy and while the seat is very uncomfortable, comfort is not expected in a product like this. While overall this is very well (apart from the twist locking) made I would advise anyone other than the fit and young to avoid at all costs.I returned mine and received a prompt refund

Compact and sturdy
I used this at a rugby match as I knew I would be unable to stand for the entire game. It certainly helped but I did find it quite uncomfortable after sitting on it for a while. It’s a great design I felt safe and it did not move though I just wish the seat part could be made a little more comfortable. Many spectators around me thought it was a great idea and asked where I had got it from!

How well will it wear?
Have not used yet. Nice design, there are little stick on grips supplied to make the seat part less slippy. HAving put them on I cannot say they significantly increase grip!I am a bit concerned about how much wear and tear the rubber foot that will be in contact with the ground will take. Time will tell I guess.

Strong and sturdy
Only just received it so may add to the review after outdoor use however, it is strong and easy to use so am feeling very positive about the product.

Great concept ! But?
Product is clumsy and challenging when trying to assemble. Heavy for its size. Very expensive.

Surprisingly Comfortable
While testing it at home in front of a TV to see how long I thought that I would be able to sit on it, it did not seem like it was going to be for very long. However, when I took it out into the woods, and was occupied with the portable radio station that I was operating rather than thinking about this seat, I ended up on it for a good 30 minutes before I needed to get off of it and move around. Compact, rugged, quick to setup and take down, and is fairly light to carry. It is a keeper.

Works
I use it on job sites when I need to sit down to program IT or CCTV equipment from my laptop. Works perfectly for my need, well see how long it lasts!

It's portable and it expands and folds very easily. The only problem is the foot (rubber piece at the bottom of the stick). It broke off after less than dozen uses. Amazon doesn't sell the replacement so you have to order from Sitpack's website directly. It cost $9.85 for the rubber piece, but it ships from UK so the shipping fee cost more than the product.

The Sitpack will make your day....
I like the way the way the Sitpack keeps your back upright and reduces stress on your spine and/or leg. When you need to stand in one place for several minutes this is the product for you.

Hard to use
Liked the product and concept but not amazon's deceptive sales pitch.Had a gift card balance did not want to use yet when I ordered this, the payment was default to gift payment with the last numbers of my bank card so I actually used my gift credit when I did not intend to. Now that's American GREED!I like the product and recommend it but purchase the seat cover. For the cost the cushion seat should be included. The cost should be less. You can not file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau amazon controls how complains are filed.
