Very simple installation, great broad and high strength coverage
It's perfect if you wish to add an AP to dead zones, I've set one up on the second floor right in the epicentre of all rooms and its fantastic, great strong coverage through a feet of concrete and mortar, I will add a second one to my outdoor enclosed patio for maximum coverage in the garden too, great product, I'm amazed by itMy cons are the Unifi install console, requiring Java to run the application seems like a big risk nowadays.

The ultimate WiFi experience, but not for the faint hearted
I have completely bought into the Unifi ecosystem after years of living with low quality routers provided by my ISP and a multitude of powerline adapters to try to resolve poor WiFi. If you too decide to go this route then do some homework first by watching some of the online tutorials and reading the Unifi community support pages. If you want rock solid wifi with excellent coverage then this is for you.

Great devices but not for the average home user
It's worth mentioning that despite the capability of these devices, they're really not for the home user. I know there'll be folk out there considering purchasing one of these. You need really to be quite conversant in a range of technologies and terminologies to be able to get the most out of them. If you're not really comfortable with VLANs, IP routing and address, or you don't need to support multiple WIFI SSIDs then you'll not get the most out of these.Note that these devices do not support administration using a built-in web server like pretty much all domestic and most business WAPs. Instead you run a Java app which is designed to manage a whole network full of these dotted around your site, As such, they're really aimed at the enterprise or education sector where keeping a these things in sync can almost be a job in its own right. You can also manage these from the cloud.Different management profiles are supported for different devices in your network so that you can implement access control, monitor access easily and impose bandwidth limitations for different networks.Beware that some sellers will ship you this device with a European-style power cord to power the PoE converter that in included. If your switch has regular PoE than (15W 802.3af) then that seems to be enough to power this.

No UK Plug Provided - EU plug instead
Would have given 5* but there was no Uk Plug provided. The actual system is excellent and linked into my current infrastructure brilliantly and seamlessly but disappointed by no Uk plug as promised in the description.

No UK plug for me either
Product is okay but wasted time because the claim is that a UK plug is provided and it was not for any of the units I purchased.None had a UK plug. They were all sealed from the factory.

Didn't work and can't get a refund
This product did not do what it said it was supposed to do. It was extremely unstable with the WIFI on my laptop dropping out every 30 seconds to a minute and was providing over 400mbps LESS than my standard connection to my internet hub. I connected this to various devices (mobile, PC, Laptop and tablet) but the connection was not steady enough to actually use the devices to their full potential and the product did not provide a good internet speed compared to my internet hub.I sent back for a refund as the product was clearly faulty, however this company have decided not to refund me because apparently the item was returned damaged. I am very careful with returning products and made sure everything was packaged correctly so they are clearly conning me out of my refund and there is nothing I can do about it.I will never use these products from this company again and I am now out of pocket by £143... not a small sum. Extremely unhappy.
