Review: Good for a pro or very experienced DIY'er - The parts are there. They work and seem to be of decent quality. If you want a Murphy bed at a good value you're pretty much going to have to do it yourself. However, this is not a beginner project. Not by a long shot. If you are patient and have persistence and want to watch a lot of Youtube you can probably figure it out. But there is a lot to it and a lot riding on it (a heavy piece of furniture hanging off your wall). This will push you in the right direction but you'll have to do a lot of learning to take this project home. Keep that in mind and buy it if you're ready!
Review: No customer service - I have emailed them to ask questions as they stated to do so in the manual. I haven't heard back and it is going on a week since I reached out. The manual does not give specifics on lumber material or a good reference cutting guide.

The parts are there. They work and seem to be of decent quality. If you want a Murphy bed at a good value you're pretty much going to have to do it yourself. However, this is not a beginner project. Not by a long shot. If you are patient and have persistence and want to watch a lot of Youtube you can probably figure it out. But there is a lot to it and a lot riding on it (a heavy piece of furniture hanging off your wall). This will push you in the right direction but you'll have to do a lot of learning to take this project home. Keep that in mind and buy it if you're ready!
