Faff-free food fast!
I really like the ease of using this product. I’ve had it a few weeks and not used it because I thoroughly get it would mean faffing about, how wrong I was. Tonight I had a stew cooked in the fridge (always better the day after cooking). Plus he who is never obeyed brought green beans, beetroot, cabbage, and broccoli from his allotment. So I put the stew in one of the pots and set this on the trivet that came with my instant pot, then I just dropped all the chopped veg on top in a veg steaming plate. Sealed the instant pot and put it on for 7 mins after which we had a lovely pipping hot meal with very little faffing about. Couldn’t want much better really. Recommend to anyone for faff-free cooking!

It doesn’t work!
Urrrh! It doesn’t work. I just love the idea of cooking two things at once. I made aubergine and potato curry in one pan, and rice in the other. Set the instapot at 12 min which is plenty of time (I normally do 4 min for curry and 12 min for rice when using instapot). Upon opening, the aubergine & potatoes had hardly cooked. The rice was a on the uncooked side too. I put it back in for another 6 mins and the rice was done but the veg were still not cook properly. Finished it off on the stove.

Practical and good for Pot in pot cooking
Great little accessory for Pot in pot cooking, easy to clean, after all it is stainless steel!! The only gripe I have, and this is a genuine one is the lid is hard to get off,I had oven gloves on so I didn't scold myself!! Hey guys use the loaf and weeks a little knob in the centre of the lid!!

Handle with care
I like these pans very much. They have increased the versatility of our pressure cooker in that we can cook wide variety of foods all at one time.More often than not though, the bottom pan gets stuck onto the top one and separating them, (especially when they are hot), can be a tad difficult. I am hopeful the pans will “loosen up” over time, but I wondered if drilling a hole a centimetre or so below the rim might help?

Needs holes in then it would be useful
I wanted something to hold some vegetables and maybe one other item. It does but I thought this had holes in the bottom but does not. Consequently things take longer to cook, cook time for potatoes was more than double and it's then quicker to use a simple pan of water. If you leave the lid off then you still need to drain through a sieve. Not sure what the purpose is. It's not effective for streaming, microwave is simpler to warm things up.

Well made ad fits IP perfectly!
There are lots of different versions of these (some at a cheaper price) but this one is one of the origials and is of higher quality.
