Q: Can you use a regular Portland and lime Masonry mortar mix with this gun?

Thank you for your interest in our product. You would need to add a Plasticizer into the mortar mix to use this gun.

Q: I have a rather large manufacturered stone job to get grouted/mortared. Can i order more mortar tips?

Hi. I wouldn't use this gun for a large job. I couldn't even get it to work for my little job. You'll just be disappointed. Thanks.

Q: will this work on fluid type material like fix a floor?

If the product is already in a tube with a nozzle like fix a floor you wouldn't use this gun. A caulk gun might work better for this time of product. Thank you

Q: Does water excape from the back seal? Is this thing any good for gouting?

I only used it for pointing with mortar. Nowater escapes unless it gets plugged and one applies too much force to push out the plug. Then water is squeezed back out past the seal.
