Great little metal box that does exactly what it advertises.
works exactly as it should, which is unfortunately rare with these kinds of devices. The build quality is good, feels like good aluminum maybe. it doesn't add any static or change the quality of my sound at all which is good. Great item for the price. simple switch. small enough to be double-sided taped to my desk and not be in the way.

DOES THE JOB!
I was looking for a switchbox to flip between my computer speakers and headphones. This is it... nice, simple, no frills, it JUST WORKS. Easy to connect; 1/8" TRS stereo cable from Computer audio out to i/o on the box; speakers to A, headphones to B; DONE. It's a little smaller than I expected, but no problem. Nice, solid metal box; firm positive feeling switch. No static, click, or pop when switching. No volume control, but that's not necessary; I control volume at the computer keyboard. Passive switch; no power supply necessary. I used a small piece of adhesive velcro to attach it to my desk so it doesn't slide around. VERY reasonable price.

Ugly but works!
I don't like the huge generic name boldly shown on the front. I may paint over that. But I like the box otherwise. I did notice that when I plugged my ground loop isolotor thingy into it that it started making noise. And if I removed it, the noise went away. The exact opposite behavior of my previous switch box which used all the same connections.

Gets the job done!
A very simple device that connects quickly and works! No extra knowledge of sound systems needed. If you can plug in headphones or connect via Bluetooth you can set up this splitter. I use mine to go back & forth between wired speakers and blue tooth head phone on a tv. You do need a group fault interrupter. I located mine on the audio-out of my tv. Very small, takes up almost no space on the cabinet. Great value: price vs function!

Defective
First I bought the version of this with a plastic switch. It worked for a few weeks then had problems with the channels dropping out. So then I thought well I'll buy the one with the metal switch. It just got here and darn if it doesn't work – the B side works fine but the A side has static and only passes one of the stereo channels. So now I will give up on this brand altogether, get my money back for at least the latest one I bought and leave this bad review. Two examples of this from the same company both don't work, so their quality control is pretty clearly bad.

Fantastic build quality.
I've used another type of switch between computers for the past couple decades, one with RCA inputs, because this sort of switch was not around back then. It worked, but I had to use weird cables with left and right RCA outputs on one end and 3.5mm stereo on the other. And the switch itself was large, which became an issue as I changed out my work station. Yes, it is just an A/B switch, but it is very clearly well made. It is not cheap plastic. The switch mechanism is solid and the shell is either aluminum or steel. Also, the switch isn't going to take up a lot of room. If you've also looked at KVM switches, you know that it is hard enough to find one that will support modern video standards, let alone that one will also support audio switching. I have a KVM for video, mouse, and keyboard, and this switch for trading speaker connectivity between machines.

Still evaluating.
It might be just me, however, going between a Mac and a PC, the ground seems to be off or something. I get humming or it doesn’t seem to work as well as it should. I use a set of Bose speaker with the switcher. It doesn’t work as well as it should. I’m gonna change my set up around just a little bit and see if that helps. Thus far, however it doesn’t work all that great. I’m still evaluating.

This little audio swtch really works well!
I have two Mac computers, one monitor and one sound bar. I purchased a 2 in 1 out HDMI switch, a 2 in 1 out USB-A switch, and most recently, this 2 in 1 out 3.5mm audio switch. Now I can easily switch from one computer to the other on the monitor, the mouse/keyboard and the audio to the sound bar. The switch housing is aluminum and very solid, as is the toggle switch itself. The switch works perfectly.
