The unlock button on my original 8 year old fob for my Navigator stopped working. All the other buttons worked. I just switched the circuit board and battery into the new fob case and it worked perfectly. A new fob from the dealer would have set me back $500+.Please note that this is just the case - the circuit board inside and the key do not come with it. First try a new battery but if your buttons are worn out (no tactile *click* when you press the buttons) then give this a try.The quality seems to be very good. Everything fits exactly as the original. Highly recommended!

I took the electronics out of the old worn one, the old buttons had gotten to where everything was triggered with the slightest touch! I could even use my old back plate with the Ford emblem and old Key.

Easy transfer of internal components. Key shop cut the new key and ensured that everything worked perfectly! Great transaction!

I'm Impressed with the product. I was hesitant to purchase expecting the shell to be worse than the original. Being an electronics guy, I opened one up that was frequently trying to lock my car. I found the insane design of gluing the dome connectors to the rubber to be stupid. Two had come unglued and were moving and making contact with the electronics. I attempted to reglue the domes and the rubber had just deteriorated over a decade and would not accept the bond.When I received this, it was surprising to see that this manufacturer took the time to make it better. They put the domes on a plastic sheet rather than on the rubber directly. "Ah, this won't work!" Oh yes it does! Even better. It feels more solid. I'll try to remember to come back in about a year and let you know how it holds up.

Used on a 2012 Lincoln MKX fob and everything fit together perfectly, and easy 5 minute job to swap the parts. Even used the back of the original fob so I could keep the Lincoln logo. It looks brand new again.
