Straightforward replacement element
Easy to install for a competent DIYer. However I would recommend using a professional if you’re unsure, especially if it’s being used in conjunction with a central heating system. Working perfectly, maintains a constant temperature and simple to adjust. Would buy again.

A smart piece of kit.
This was a replacement product for a thermostatic element (by a different manufacturer) in an en-suite towel-rail which had failed after some 8 years or so of almost constant use. The product is manufactured by a Polish company - Terma. It's very smart and is far better looking than the image on the ad. It came very well packed and with a good (multi language) manual/installation instructions. It's a bit different to the normal single "prong" element - it has two. However it fitted perfectly into the towel rail and my local electrician found it easy to install. The controller is in stainless steel with 5 LED lights signalling the temperature level with + or - and on/off switches below. There's a good length of cable attached. Thus far it has worked to my entire satisfaction and I'm delighted with the product.

Compact Towel Rail Heating Element
This heating element was required to replace the original element which failed when it was accidentally switched on whilst the radiators were drained to allow a new boiler to be fitted.This product is well designed with a compact easy to use control unit, and was easy to fit, using a 20mm open-ended spanner.

Great product, but no proof of IP54 rating on pruduct or instructions
The product is great and works perfectly. Delivered well packaged, and with clear instructions. Note there is a small chromed plastic back cable-cover that needs fitting behind the stat end. The only issue I had was that as I'm having this installed in Zone 1, I needed to ensure it was IPx4 rated, but the written instructions in the packaging don't state the IP rating. Had to show the installer the advert to convince him it was within regs.

Good purchase
I bought one of these seven years ago for a heated towel rail, and for some reason (not scaling) the towel rail was no longer being heated much. So I bought this replacement and fitted it myself with the aid of some PTFE tape.It works perfectly, exactly as described.
