Check space in laptop before ordering
The antenna was very difficult to fit into the laptop as there wasn't an obvious route for the cable tails. Before ordering, make sure that there is enough space in the case for a lot of wire. Can't comment on whether it improved the signal as I couldnt get the case closed with it connected
