Pin Wiz Trailer Hitch Clip was purchased to use with a utility trailer whose rear ramp is removable, being held by L pins through two hinges on the bottom of the ramp. I had replaced the cotter pins with spring clips, as I remove the tailgate to use ramps for loading my ATV on the trailer as to reduce the weight and wind resistance when taking the trailer out when loaded as such. These hitch clips are really handy to reach an awkward place and give a good grip for both removal and installation. They seem well made, and a little pricey for a modified spring clip, but I was willing to buy them for the ease of use. Wouldn't use them on a hitch pin because it would be too tempting and too easy to relieve some one of one of these on a conventional hitch. Personally I use a locking hitchpin.

This is such a simple idea and product but it is amazing the difference they make! I replaced our regular clips which were always such a pain to both remove and attach, with these. They work even better than I had expected. I had my wife try them as well and she found them very easy - she wouldn't touch the old ones. We picked up a new RV yesterday and the salesman at the dealership was helping me swap out my hitch etc., he was just as surprised and thrilled about them as I was. I told him they should stock them in their store. He said he was going to go look them up on the internet right away and kept mentioning what a great idea it was.

Don't trust the listing. It says 5 pc. and if you scroll down to the packaging it states again in number of items 5. You actually get just one. However- it's a pretty nice hitch pin and well worth the price. I have to admit I wondered how they could afford to sell 5 for that price and it was a bit of a shock to get just one. But I'm ordering a second one. I need two of these to use as locking mechanisms for my sons folding wheel chair. These fit - with the tab they're easy to put on and remove. Kinda perfect for a locking swage cable replacement for this particular application.

I’m using this for my hitch & also for a pin location on a front mower that was very tuff to get to with a regular pin. Bough 4 so far will see how long the rubber holds out so far so good. Would purchase again.

I am pulling a 6000 lb travel trailer. The pain that this was supposed to take the place of was a lot beefier than this one. Don't feel comfortable putting in such a lighter-weight pin.

I really like these trailer hitch clips. So much easier to use and I don't have to carry a pair of pliers to pull them. A quick pull on the tab and the clip is removed. I would recommend that the pull tab be red so it would be easy to find if you dropped it.

What a great idea. The clips on my RV weight distribution system are beginning to rust because they can't be removed with just your fingers. I've tried using a rag with pliers but can't get a grip on the clip, problem solved with these. Thank you

We are so glad we got these! They fit tight and are easy to manage. We bought them to hold the hitch bars in place. Game changer!
