Review: It's a Completely Silent Clock! - Very happy with the design and the operation of this clock. It is completely silent. By that I mean, unless your ear is pressed up against the dial, then and only then would you hear a sIight whirring noise. Who does that? I don't know what they mean by saying "if your hearing is particularly sensitive in a completely silent room you may hear a very quiet whirring" Nonsense. You would have to be a canine to hear the mechanism from any distance. My hearing is pretty good and I am a light sleeper.

I love the numbers font, that’s what drew me to this. I like the retro style of it. I put a battery in and it worked right away. No ticking noises and it is very quiet. Would recommend!

Very happy with the design and the operation of this clock. It is completely silent. This is indeed a cute alarm clock; however, it is not worth the large price tag. At all. The entire body, including the face, is plastic.
