I’ve had to change the blade and also take it apart to free up the rollers once or twice but it’s not difficult and I’ve had too do that to other slices anyway. If you do take it apart there are two tiny bits of metal in the spring to watch out for, I’ve lost one but it still seems to work! It cuts very well for me. It’s bigger than a 15mm slice so some times won’t get into a space that a normal one would. The blade is expensive- nearly half the cost of the thing new, that said it did last a good while! It’s probably a bit heavy than most as well. The drop down roller will get gummed up in old paint from pipes 🤣 that all said It’s good to grip and cuts well. Pretty easy to maintain if needed. Saves weight and space in my bag. And gets used most days.It could be improved as others have said and maybe it will be, but it’s a good effort. Review: Amazing concept, a few areas to improve - After many months of use; This is a very good cutter, still cuts quickly, nothing snapped or broken or fallen apart. However... I have had a fairly serious issue which many other people would not have been able or bothered to fix. After prolonged use the cutters will eventually get wet. If it gets wet inside the guide wheels, they will completely seize up from rust and there is no way - at least intentionally - of being able to un seize these wheels. When the wheels are seized you can still use the cutters, but they will drag, making them hard to turn which causes them to start trmlining/spiralling and leaving marks on the pipe.
