A really good healer for tummy upsets.
Slippery Elm is a great old fashioned remedy for stomach upsets. In my case it was purchased for my elderly little cat who has had CFR for the last four years. CRF can cause excessive stomach acid, and slippery elm is fantastic for immediately soothing the condition. It's safe for cats to take, and I just add a couple of teaspoons to half a cup of water, whisk up well and quickly bring to the boil. It thickens up and can be gently syringed down when it's cooled. I usually give just two syringe full, and put the rest into a screw lidded jar and keep in the fridge for a couple of days, it keeps well. My cat seems to like the taste, it's slightly malty. If I take it myself, I would add it to a small amount of milk, same directions, and drink when it's ready. It really can sooth any stomach pain very quickly.

was told this was good for heartburn / indigestion
was told this was good for heartburn / indigestion. No difference for me after one use though (unlike honey and ginger drinks). May be other uses for it though.

Good but packaging is challenging. Lost some of product trapped in folds.
