Having knowledge of acupuncture points helpful
The instructions are clear and the accompanying pictures make picking up this technique easier, but it would be way easier to have some knowledge of TCM and/or acupuncture going into it. You don’t NEED this kind of background to learn the techniques, but all the names of the points are otherwise unfamiliar Chinese names which may take some time to learn too. I’m not saying that to deter anyone from buying this book because it really is fantastic , I’m just giving a heads up.

Good book
Good size hard cover book. I’m new to Gua Sha. Plenty of detailed instructions with colorful images. Basically covers the whole body. I was skeptical to order it because of the lack of reviews with images but I’m happy I purchased it. Very interesting!

Zeer uitgebreid.
Eigenlijk zocht ik een eenvoudige uitleg over gua sha, omdat dit nieuw is voor mij. In plaats daarvan blijkt dit boek dit onderwerp zeer uitgebreid te behandelen met heel veel foto’s ter verduidelijking.
