M-Factors MO297 32GB SSD is a flash based disk drive with SATA III compliant interface. It used high performance and reliability S8 controller and MLC based NAND flash with optional operating temperature at -45C to 85C. It provides read and writes speeds of up to 520MB/s and 380MB/s respectively. Its high reliability and data protection makes it an ideal storage solution for the embedded systems and mobile environment. Due to its non mechanical nature, it has higher shock resistant and lower access time than traditional rotating hard disk. Built-in ECC and EDC ensure error-free transactions for the most demanding applications.

I installed this Emperor Disk 128GB MO297 Half Slim SATA III SSD on a dual-Xeon ATCA card (a high-powered compact industrial PC). It was recognized as a normal SATA drive and loaded Linux very rapidly from the usual Anaconda installer. It booted Linux 3.4 directly from the Slim SATA card with no problems whatsoever, exactly as if it were a normal mechanical SATA or SAS hard drive. The circuit board and packaging appear to be of high quality. Note that it does not ship with screws and standoffs; my board needed tiny 1mm screws (4mm long) and 6mm high threaded standoffs to securely mount the card (although the connector alone might be sufficient if there were no shock and vibration).

Works perfect for an embedded solution
I have purchased 5 of these now and they work flawlessly. One thing to note, it wasnt allowing me to write to it as a normal disk (IE you try to load OS on it directly, nada) but I was able to write an image of the OS to it no problem and they work very fast and reliably. I use it that way from now on and no issues.
