starts as a soft flame with the side roll bar, flint ignition. push button for a single flame torch. you want to toast a cigar with the torch, finish with the soft flame? go between pipe and cigar. this is a solid choice! the mechanism, the heft of the lighter, the sound the lid makes snapping open, all are rather familiar. reminds me of a very high end french company, known for jewelry grade offerings? Low quality, leaks, unreliable, and the flint spring was way too long.

Novelty lighter, works but not much of an everyday lighter. Torch function is not independent of flame.

Did not work at all. Even took it to a local cigar bar where 3 different people tried to fill it with various lighter fluid dispensers. Total flop.

I smoke the occasional cigar and wanted a lighter that would hold up for a cigar smoker. The fact that this lighter uses a flint strike gives it a very traditional feel, but the fact that you can switch it to a torch flame for windy situations appealed to me. When I got it, I was intrigued on how to light the torch, but what I learned was that you have to light the traditional flame first and then press a button to switch to the torch but only after the flame is ignited... What worries me is if it's windy and the flame won't light first. So I gave it 4 stars until I can test it under conditions. I'll just have to update this review once I figure it out.

Complete trash. The casing is loose, it doesn't burn right, leaking gas at all the valves. And looses gas gas even when not in use. Do not buy this junk!

I tried to fix it but got damaged and there is no clear instructions or video about how to fix or to install the parts and start using it
