Yido Pottery was founded in 1990 by Yi, Yoonshin who belongs to the first generation of Korean Potters, first dedicated to making what is known as “everyday ceramics.” Featuring the exquisite work of Yi, Yido Pottery seeks to revive a neglected tradition and gain recognition for Korean pottery as a valuable cultural asset. Our work is the epitome of elegance in minimalism; each piece is a unique work of art handcrafted in our Ceramic Studio at Yeoju, South Korea. The idea behind our pottery is simple: dinnerware should, first and foremost, make food look appetizing. [Care & Maintenance] Our pottery wares are intended for serving rather than cooking. Please do not place them on stovetops or any places with direct heat sources. We recommend hand-washing the bottle with warm water with soft scouring pad right after use. Please avoid soaking it in water for a long time. When using dishwasher, always be sure to rinse first and make sure not to overload. We recommend using mild detergents than acidic and abrasive ones.
