I ordered 2 sets (8 lights). They arrived on time, and all have functioned properly. I am only using one of the plastic ground stakes on each one, as the sets they sent with the lights didn't interlock properly. One stake is longer and cut different than the other in order to mount properly. But on 5 of the lights, the stakes are identical and do not connect to each other. However, mounting them in the ground with just one stake was easier and has not been a detriment to their performance.For the lights themselves, they charge up well in sun or overcast days. They wear down anywhere from midnight to 2:00am (one of them gets far less direct sun light than the others and shuts off early, as one would expect). They add a nice flair to the edges of our driveway for minimal cost and should be low maintenance. I have not walked on them to see if they will break, and encourage people to not step on them if possible.

Since these are in the ground behind my garden, I was looking for something I didn't have to turn on and off. I was hoping that by leaving them "on" and having them charge all day, they would have enough juice to last into the night time. Not the case. Once the sun sets, they only last about 2 hours. I could go out every morning and turn them off, allow them to charge, then turn them on again once it gets dark. But, again, not really wanting to dig them out of the ground twice a day. I guess what I really need to do is invest in some sort of hard wired solution. :(

At first I was very satisfied with the lights... Then as time went on they barely turned on for long at night. 1 doesn't work at all. I placed in direct sunlight for 8 hours, still weak. Would not recommend.

Lights are dim. Good to light up a path at night, but does not really light up the trees as much as I had hoped. If it was pitch black at my house with no other light pollution, maybe it would be better.

Used them on my front porch, laying them at base of columns. Wonderful uplight affect. Strong enough to to that and last into the night.... the removable base spikes are perfect for laying on top on hard surfaces. Love them and will buy more!

These were not bright at all. Fine for just indicating where a walkway is. One of the four didn't work unfortunately but the return was easy and well done.

I should not have purchased these, as I knew I was taking a chance, and I lost. I only bought these as the ones I wanted were not available. Amazon should stop offering these, terrible quality, poorly constructed, in general,a total rip off
