So I waited a bit as this had mixed reviews. I'm still thrilled with it. The crank is very easy to use. The size is comfortable to hold. i don't use on small pills mostly medium size. I have to crush 15 a day for a kitty with heart failure so this is a great help. I have to cut the pills in half but that's no big deal. At times it won't crush the pill entirely so all i do is give it a shake until I don't hear anymore pills left. I wish I had bought this long ago - has saved so much time and frustration ~ kitty can sense when I get frustrated when i'm medicating him so thankfully this has made it so much easier on both of us.

Bought one months ago and have been really happy with it. Ordered another one for a spare. First one that was delivered fell apart on the third use. Returned for a replacement. Replacement unit functions ok so far, but it has some minor quality problems. Both twist locks are too tight. Hopefully they will loosen up with use. Quality seems to have slipped since I bought my first one.

Great design! The triangle-shape is easy to grip.The stainless steel finish gives a very clean look. It does not show finger prints from normal use.Parts fit together snugly, does not fall apart.Blades are ceramic. Very quiet operation. 3 rotations of the handle and the pills are just about done.Powdered pills come out cleanly. Interior is plastic.My Mom can't swallow pills, so we need to use a grinder to mix them in Ensure for her. We tried those plastic pill crushers, but they make my wrists sore after a while. The plastic threads begin to break-down and they get harder to turn. After we tried this Pillverizer (Love the name!) we tossed the plastic pill crushers into the recycle bin.Purchased one for a friend, to help her with medication for her mother.Highly Recommended!!

Works extremely well! My grandpa recently had a stroke and has difficulty swallowing so we've been having to grind up his medicine with a mortar and pestle, but this makes our lives so much easier. The grinder makes everything into a very fine powder which is great for us since we have to dissolve his medicine in liquid to give to my grandpa through his gastric tube. Not all medicine is equally soluble, but it really helps increase solubility when you can get the medicine into a fine powder which this device does. My family is really impressed with this. It doesn't require a lot of strength to do the grinding either which is a super plus. Again, I'm very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone. My thanks to this company for making a great product that has helped my family get through a difficult time.

This has saved my hands. I was using a less expensive pill crusher that left chunks because I was tired of crushing , vitamins as well as other hard to crush pills. This has pulverized to powder all the pills in less time than it took me for 2 of them. It has an adjustment so can change the density but I like the default of making them a powder. If anyone has an issue with swallowing pills I would highly recommend this as a lesser price tool. I would not go to something less expensive.

So if you’re looking for an appliance to grind your pills into the finest of powders - this crusher is for you. I am so impressed with how fine it grinds. However, if you are looking for a grinder that does a good amount of pills in one batch - stay away. The description warns us larger pills may need to be ground up separately. And boy - they weren’t kidding. Need to grind multi vitamins, Tylenol- arthritis strength, and zinc separately. The case and the handle are much easier on my hand/wrist than the plastic manual grinder I’m still using for the larger sized pills. I would definitely fork over the money to buy an improved version of this grinder if they make one that could handle larger pills.

This item never works properly if you take it apart to clean it. I followed all of the instructions and I ended having to buy another one. It happened again and I am looking for a similar product that can be washed on a regular basis. Also, the pills get caught up in the grinding mechanism and build up. After about a month, it doesn't work. In the beginning, the product worked magnificently. I just ran into problems with cleaning it.
