Toughees Boy's Clerk Shoes

This is the second pair of TOughees my son has had and they last for almost a year and still look smart by the end without any cleaning and despite plenty of playground football. Very comfortable, smart and hard wearing. lace ups are better than velcro as the velcro is the weak link!

Real rugged shoes. We had spent a fortune on our son's school shoes, virtually having had to buy a pair at the beginning of each school term. All because the shoes were not as durable as they used to be in my day. Then we discovered toughees. They are rugged and very durable. No more worries for me.

Reasonable price, wear well and look smart. Standard delivery was next day so all round a good buy. I was a little disappointed hence 3 stars, as there was a crease mark across one of them, would have asked for another pair in a shop but was not worth sending back as they were needed for return to school and couldn't bear the process of returns!

Great pair of shoes that are designed to last. This will be the third pair of shoes we have bought our son this year and already these have outlasted the other 2. They are a good sturdy design as school shoes should be. My son enjoys wearing them. We have had no complaints of wet feet or any demonstrations about not being able to kick a ball. What a success

My son wore those shoes for school only. He used them for less than a month and they are already in the bin: the sole separated from the upper part of the shoe and the damage was such that it was no use repairing. It is the second time that I have been disappointed by "Toughees"' shoes (out of the 4 pairs that I have bought). They do not deserve their name and are overpriced!

Best fitting shoes I have ever had. I am an adult with a small but wide foot and have always found if difficult to find shoes that fit. I didn't even have to wear these shoes in they fit perfect and were comfortable the first time I put them on. This is my second pair I am buying, my first pair lasted three years.

I bought a pair of kicker which lasted less than one term. I have great expectation of these as they appear extremely sturdy.

Bought these even though there are mixed reviews. So far (touch wood) they have been great, no blisters and wearing well under the tough work out they receive from a teenage boy. They look smart which is a bonus.
