Toughees Girls Janine T Bar Brogue Velcro Comfort Insole

I think calling them "Toughees" is very misleading. Bought for a 5yr old 12th June - by the summer holidays (so end of July) they already looked battered - so they lasted just over a month looking nice. Very soon they started to look tatty. but they were off school for 5 weeks, and now they've been back to school for 3 weeks and they now awful - they look very out of shape, the leather was the first to suffer with it coming off at the toes. I'm not very impressed for the money. ASDA George at £15 lasted longer. It could be my daughter getting older and scuffing them more, but it should be the other way around (shoes lasting longer the older they get?). Either way, I have still not found my "school shoe brand" for the next 10 years and will be buying others, very soon of course as she cant wear these for much longer, as it's now embarassing sending her to school in them. I usually hope to get 2 -/+ terms out of a pair of shoes, where as these have not even lasted half a term of wear. Im afraid I would not recommend these for Infant Children as the materials used are not 'Toughee' at all

Comfortable and perfect fit. Velcro strap could be longer . Only covering half way.

Fit perfectly and my daughter has had them for 2 terms at school and they have hardly worn compared to other brands.

find valcrove go s before shoe wears out so unwear able

We loved the look of these shoes and had high hopes of that they would live up to their names but unfortunately after 2months wear, the place where the strap attaches has broken and they are very scuffed.Needless to say we are disappointed.

Great looking shoe well made and sturdy.Bought for my Grandaughter in Cyprus she loves them.

Very comfortable schoolshoes! Easy with the velcro.
