I spent a long time reading reviews trying to pick a radio for a fresh 1:8 scale buggy build. I purchased a middle-class radio from a competitor and was just never really happy with the features and always felt like I could never quite get it dialed in.While talking with all of the racers at my local track they consistently suggested this radio, and I can truly say that after my first club race I wish I would have purchased it sooner. The radio has lots of options to fine-tune to your driving style and it will help your overall driveability of your model. The included receiver is about half the size of my previous one and easily half the weight. The responsiveness to turning, throttle, and braking are instant with no feeling of lag at all.I am very happy with this product and fully understand why it was recommended so heavily in the RC scene.

I like everything about the transmitter except three things: 1) I had to build a raised mount for the receiver box. Only by elevating the wireless receiver did I get satisfactory range. 2) the ESC for telemetry is quite expensive. I use a timer And a temp gun but real time battery and motor temp would really be nice. 3) The price of receivers is high. I have a Sanwa and a less expensive clone and am happy with both.This sounds like a negative review but it is not. You don’t need telemetry, you don’t need their ESC and you don’t nreed a bunch of receivers and less expensive clones are available and work great. Also, did I mention the screen and the feel? If it broke, I’d replace it with the same transmitter.

Wanted a 4 channel radio for my scale truck accesories as well as telemtry features for a future racing rig. Screen is bright and the controls are very responsive. Wheel is in a comfortable position which is nice when you're out racing or crawling all day. Haven't messed with the trigger much but I'm glad I have the option to further customize the feel.
