I have been using the walk fit orthotics for 3 weeks now. Noticeable improvement in back pain and stability of hip replacement.I am very pleased. As a strength trainer I have recommended it to three other clients. They are wearing them now.

No more morning stretches
I got plantar fasciitis last year on one foot and I was hobbling for a month. I started trying different shoe inserts. My favorite was Dr. Scholl's for Plantar Fasciitis until I bought the WalkFit.It does take some getting used to, but I loved it the first time I wore it. If you're not used to having inserts, you may want to start on the Dr. Scholls or something else. But with these WalkFits, I no longer have to do the heel stretches I had begun to do every morning so that I could walk. To make them comfortable, I bought a thin cushion insert to put on top of the WalkFits. This had the additional benefit of keeping the WalkFits in place when I put my foot in my shoes. I've worn the smallest arch for five months and only recently was I thinking of maybe trying the medium arch.I didn't like the massaging insert - it was not pleasant to wear. Maybe if you wear thick socks. The silver thing does seem to help in fighting odors.I bought three of these: one for work shoes (I transfer it between the shoes), one for my boat shoes and one for my slippers. Basically, the only times I'm not wearing these when I'm on my feet are when showering and jogging.I don't know if everyone experiences this, but whenever I have these on, especially in the beginning, I heard a lot of pops and cracks in my ankles and knees while moving. This is actually a good thing. If I'm understanding my chiropractor correctly, the sound is air bubbles popping as it escapes from the fluid between your joints which is a good thing. It doesn't hurt at all and I think it's your joints adjusting to the improved support.I highly recommend it.

walkfit platinum insole
I don't find these inserts to be totally uncomfortable, but definately take a lot of getting used to. They do not fit in shoes very well even if you take all the padding out of the shoe. All in all, I don't like them.

best and most economical inserts I've purchased
I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. I am on my feet allot throughout the day. I used to buy special insoles, special inserts, blah blah blah every 6 months or so. The propaganda commercial on TV was enough to catch my interest, the price on Amazon was good enough to risk the attempt without denting my wallet too badly and ticking me off too much if I was not happy with the results. It is worth allot more than what I paid in the pain it has saved me alone. I can not stress enough follow the directions. Your feet will hurt with these at first. Don't think you can handle it out of the box one day at work just to see, you won't. I wore them for 2 hours at home and had I wore them for 2 more I would not have been able to walk. They break in your feet, not the other way around. It is uncomfortable at first. I broke mine in at home after work, slowly working up to a full day in about a week and a half. NOW, I can go all day without dreading a 100 yard walk. Now I don't have to ice down my feet when I get home. My feet are still sore after a long weekend on my feet at work, but they don't have the debilitating pain they used to. I suggest anyone with foot pain thinking about it to go ahead and get it. They seem to be lasting well, they will pay for themselves soon enough since I am no longer buying anymore special inserts, I just slide these into any show I am wearing at the time. Eventually I'll get another pair or two for my other shoes. Good buy.

they're ok
i thought the walk fit platinum were ok, they are a little uncomfortable but you end up getting used to it, then they are fine.

I have been wearing my walk fits for a month now and the word is that I love them. I received orthotics from my doctor over a year ago and frankly I was sick of wearing the same old pair of shoes all the time because my orthotics s only fit in my tennis shoes. The walk fits are actually more comfortable then my doctor prescribed orthotics and a fraction of the price and they fit in ALL OF MY SHOES. I bought the walk fits hoping they would come with the adapters so I could wear them with sandals, and they did. Although I haven't tried them with sandals yet, I have no doubt I will love them just as much.

Good quality orthotics but not for me
These orthotics did not work for me as my feet underpronate and roll out. These particular walkfits are made well but are more for overpronaters with inward roll. I returned the item.

Best product I have found for my high arches
Love this product, comes with 4 different levels of inserts. I have problems with high arches, tried all the Dr Scholls etc: with no relief. went to Podiatrist who gave me pair inserts, worked fine until I bought new shoes, and was getting difficult to walk again, a relative told me about this product, so i bought it. couldn't be happier, within a few days I was pain free and back to my walking goal of 7500 steps a day... 6 months later and still going :) highly recommended
