Also due to the densely packed hairs and bluntness of the brush, it allows me to push the minimum amount of foundation I need to cover up imperfections well into the skin for a much longer lasting finish. This is by far the best tool ever purchased for foundation. It does not soak up foundation or get it caked into the bristles. It cleans almost to the good as new colour. Foundation glides onto the face which no streaking. You can lightly stipple and swirl. Bristles are sooo soft, yet hardwearing (as they do not fall out). At first I was unsure if this was the real deal as it seemed different to what I had seen online and then I real that Sigma have a trusted sellers list on their site and these guys were on there so I was very happy. Thank you so much for delivering such a great product. I have numerous brushes purchased directly from Sigma that are a couple of years old. I have never had this happen before. I'm thinking fake. **Q: Do y'all prefer to use this or the beauty blender sponge?** A: I prefer the Sigma F86 tapered kabuki brush to the beauty blender. I don't find the F80 to be good at getting in the corners and crevices of the eye. **Q: is sigma really all it is cracked up to be? i mean for the price i would hope so but i am an aspiring make up artist, so bc of the price, it it worth** A: The price is much but its worth every penny. I've had my brushes since 2014/2015 and maintained them with regular hygienic cleansing. They still work amazingly well. Please note I'm not an eveyday makeup wearer maybe 3x per week. **Q: Would this brush be helpful if applying a tinted moisturizer?** A: It's a terrible idea to put moisturizers in your brushes. Just use your fingers. It's really simple to use (unlike a beauty blender or other sponge where you have to learn what technique works best) and it really does make my foundation look flawless. I've used this with a number of foundations and it's been great for all. I've got oily skin and it works well at getting the foundation nicely buffed in, keeping my skin matte for longer too. It washes really well, with no shedding whatsoever.
