I love ALL of Harriet Ziefert's books. The facts are presented in short, clear sentences and the colorful illustrations are sure to appeal to young children. Adults will appreciate the "Think About" section at the end that facilitates conversation about what's been read.

Harriet Ziefert has written a book which answers so many questions as well as explaining how the animals do things instead of using a hammer. This book begins with animals and then moves on to humans and how they have invented things to make their lives easier through their tools. The pictures are bright and colorful which will keep the attention of children as well as lead to more questions from the children.
