Only the outlets in my kitchen and bathroom are that high. But those aren't the rooms where I wanted to place these. So, they're basically useless to me. Perhaps this info is listed on the Amazon purchasing page and I missed it. Oh well.I use one in the kitchen when I'm not using those outlets for other things. Whether or not it works I have no idea. The red light is on, though.The instructions (at least partially written by someone who is not a native English speaker and with virtually no understanding of grammar or usage) are at points either unintentionally hilarious or unintelligible, though the writer must have researched some words to make sure they were at least spelled (if not used) correctly.
