DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP!
This Pump and Filter assembly gave me headaches and cost me extra money just to make it function. I wish I had spent twice the price for a name brand made in USA pump. So many things wrong with this and i want to write a long tirade, but I will just make a list.1. Biggest issue is non conformance with American plumbing sizes. The outflow connection on filter housing is a molded threaded fitting at 1-1/8" diameter. In the USA we have 1" or 1-1/2" fittings in Universal Pipe Thread diameters. I had to custom make a coupling device out of 1" ID vinyl hose, heated and forced onto the filter housing fitting, then clamped on and the used a 1" barbed to 1-1/4" PVC adapter to then connect the rest of my plumbing which is 1-1/4" PVC and 1-1/4" flex hose, see photo's. Also the other 2 fittings are barbed for connecting a flexible type hose to. These are also not standard diameter and the flex hose fit loose and needed to have a layer of waterproof rubberized tape wrapped around the fitting before clamping the flex hose or adapter to connect standard plumbing pipe or fitting to.2. Poor assembly directions. Diagrams only with lettered legend, but no corresponding parts list for that legend!3. Selection lever on filter housing is very hard to operate.4. Once all set up and running performance and suction seems to be very low!5. I do not expect this to last thru the season, and will update this review at a later date.Please just don't buy this product, save yourself the time, headaches, and excess money. Buy American, buy name brand, and spend your time in the pool, not installing and maintaining it!

Unhappy with the pump
Really unhappy with this pump it barely wants to filter or pump out any water spent a good amount in this pump and my factory pump worked better the seals on the pump didn’t seal I had to go buy new seals to replace the ones it came with

Pool pump is working great.
Pump is working perfect. The only this is that when it starts getting a little clogged up in the filter you have to recycle mode so it starts to pump water with pressure again

Motor is quiet! But unfortunately they failed when developing the bottom plug for sand filter tank!
I gave this 3-stars because the motor is very quiet and has great flow. The down side is I cannot use the sand filter because the flimsy plastic fibers on the lower filter plug are so cheap and thin just putting it in place caused them to break. Not sure why they would make this part so cheaply.So I’m having to use the motor with my old sand tank. Thank goodness I kept it!

I like it for keeping my pool water clean and clear. I dis like the instructions. I had to go to YouTube on othe product to put it together. I'm using it to filter my pool
