White Refined Shea Butter 1lb

Personally don't like it but is totally what the saller discrive

I bought this product for making lotions and creams for myself and my family. I did a lot of research before I purchased it and read a lot of peoples reviews of other Shea Butters available through Amazon as well. What was really important to me was that it had a nice consistent white color as pictured, that it didn't have any strong odors/ smells, which it doesn't, and that it was affordable. I really feel that it has met all of my criteria and am very happy with this product as my lotion base. I would recommend this product to others who are considering purchasing this product to make their lotions and creams as well. You will be happy with this product.

I have no idea what's going on with this product. As someone else posted before me, it smelled weird (smoky, oaky, woodsy?) and had the color of boiled egg yolk?? This is my first experience with Shea Butter that's not already made into a lotion or filled with additives and I'm very confused. Nothing like the picture. I purchased this to make my own body products with essential oils and I REALLY don't want to be using Shea butter that looks and smells spoiled/rotten (Is that even a thing?) As of right now you can't order this product any more so maybe (hopefully) they are getting the quality control sorted out because someone seems to have let a few weird batches slip through the cracks..

For refined Shea butter, this product has a pretty strong smell. Wouldn't recommend for use in lip products. However it's good for dry feet.

I am very happy with this purchase...no smell which is great because it wont clash if i added essential oils and its soft perfect for blending with other oils..i would buy this again :)

The bag was a bit beaten up...it made me wonder about the product. To harden the the shea I had to put into the fridge...not good!

I recommend this shea butter for soap and lotion making.I have also used it in soy based massage candles as the refind shea doesnt have that raw odor that accompanies the unrefined and can sometimes interfere with your fragrance additives.This seller shipped quickly with professional packaging and the price is GREAT .For those of you unfamiliar with shea butter , you can use it directly on your skin , its a consistency of a heavier crisco but without the greasy feel.Its great for dry skin and helps with eczema BUT if you are used to the perfumey over the counter standard lotions , you will want to use REFINED shea paired with a fragrance to your liking.
