More Than Just The Well-known Songs - Well Worth A Listen
I'm sure most, if not all, people reading this review will be familiar with the hit single What Can I Do, but this is about so much more than the well-known songs. I have to admit that the first Corrs song I heard was Dreams and my reaction was "How dare these young upstarts think they're good enough to do a Fleetwood Mac song?". After a few listens I had to acknowledge that I prefer Andrea's voice to Stevie Nicks' and I've liked them ever since - in fact, I consider Dreams to be one of the highlights of this album and prefer it to Fleetwood Mac's version.Other highlights are So Young, I Never Loved You Anyway, Love Gives, Love Takes, Runaway, and Queen of Hollywood. I am mainly a Rock fan, so it comes as a surprise to find myself giving five stars to an album that consists of pop and Irish folk music, but with seven out of fifteen tracks being highlights and the remainder being good, I really can't justify anything less.

The music is gorgeous as we all know it, but there is something screwey in the way the disc is manufactured.
I don't want to give a low rating cause there is absolutely nothing wrong with the music. The Corrs are the most elegant pop group that was around while I grew up and at least four of their albums are great from end to end. A joy to listen to, even years down the line.Warner Music however has added, I suspect, something in the manufacturing process that makes the discs unplayable on some computer cd/dvd players. My ASUS can't handle it. I must use an older external LG to play these. No problem whatsoever with hundreds of classical music cd-s from other labels, but all four Corrs albums I ordered have this issue. I've read about other people having this issue, so I am not alone in this. Well.. off to the Internet I go and download some flacs. And never touch a Warner CD ever again.And if someone asks why I play my cd-s on my PC it's because I can only afford so much technology. Labels should make life easier for their clients, not harder.tl;dr ? Awesome music. Disc unreadable on some computer drives.

I loved this original recording. I downloaded one of the songs - very disappointed as it was too loud and sounded too different from the original.I will stick with this CD - just what I wanted.

Not as original album
Purchased last week to replace my original album which was scratched . Although covers are identical it doesn’t have Dreams on it and a couple of other tracks were different mixes . So disappointed 🙁

What an album!
No wonder this is the biggest selling Irish album in UK history.This band has no end of talent, and is nothing like pop music now. A well made album thought positive and negative emotions with a lovely blend of the violin and tin whistle for good measure.

Habe mir diese Special Edition auch gekauft, aufgrund der zusätzlichen Remixe... ich meine, es hat sich gelohnt. Aber das ist wohl Geschmackssache.Ein wunderschön gelungenes Album, zusammengewürfelt aus Pop, Rock und Irish Folk. Ein Album, bei dem man auch einfach die Augen zumachen und träumen kann.Kein Song, der mir nicht gefällt... aber ich habe natürlich Favoriten:#6 "I never loved you anyway", #9 "Runaway", #10 "Hopelessly addicted"Balladen:#3, #7, #9, #12, #13, #14Kann diese CD wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.. trotz des Erscheinungsjahrs 1998 noch immer ein Genuss.

Eine sehr schöne Zusammenstellung bekannter Hits der Corrs.Alles musikalich und klangtechnisch sehr gut.Kann manohne Bedenken einfach durchlaufen lassen und sich dabei entspannt zurück lehnen.

Es un disco que recopila muchas canciones afamadas del grupo irlandés. Además, viene dentro de una caja de plástico duro y no en el últimamente clásico envase de cartón duro que no me suele gustar para conservar los discos. Buen precio.

It is a special edition of the most know hits of this band. I knew from the beggining this so it was not a surprise for me to hear some additiona beat and rhytm of all the tracks. So if you prefer the old version of the hits, maybe you won't like it so much. In my opinion it is a good cd and all the updated tracks belong to the band (original voices, etc). The vendor is very good and the customer service assistance of Nagiry is top quality. I will defintelty buy from them in the future.

Das Irische Kleeblatt hat zum zweiten mal zugeschlagen
Wie fang ich bloß richtig an? Erst mal bin Hard-Corr Fan durch und durch!Ich will einfach mal der Reihe nach gehen. Irgendwann vor paar Jahren die *in blue* gehört und gut gefunden. Dann Anfang 2004 von, damals hieß es noch einzigem, Corrs-Konzert Wind bekommen und Karte bestellt. Das Konzert in Bonn hat mich dann so sehr beindruckt wie keines zuvor! Inzwischen war Bonn als Eröffnung für die *Borrowed Heaven Tour* umfunktioniert worden. Danach hab ich den Markt leergekauft und hab mittlerweile alle DVD's und CD's, diese hier war die letzte noch fehlende und hat mich auch nicht enttäuscht. Nun hab ich auch noch das Konzert in Oberhausen besucht(Waren leider nur drei Corr's, Caroline hatte ihr zweites Baby bekommen).Für mich sind die Corr's die beste derzeit existierende Gruppe!Auch weil ich schon lange Irland-Fan bin.Nun gut, das dazu.Eigentlich wollte ich diese Rezension nicht schreiben, hab das bei den Corrs nun schon paar mal gemacht und wollte nicht überall meinen Senf dazugeben. Aber beim durchlesen der Kritiken bin ich auf einen Bürger gestoßen, der die Corrs permanent durch den Dreck zieht und dabei weit unter die Gürtellinie geht. Dieser selbsternannte Musikkritikgott hat mich so auf die Palme gebracht das ich doch mal einiges klarstellen muß. Insider wissen wen ich meine! Wenn man sich in so einem Fall nicht äußern darf, dann dürfte derjenige auch keine Kritiken schreiben.Ich bin jetzt 48 Jahre und schreihe mit Sicherheit nicht gleich Hurra wenn sich jemand mal paar Wochen in den Charts hält.Es sollte ja wohl so sein das man hier seine objektive Meinung zu den jeweiligen Artikeln abgibt. Wenn es aber dann so ausartet wie bei *Forgiven, Not Forgotten*,Zitat: -wobei ich bei den Corr-Schwestern immer den Eindruck habe, das ist bloß eine, die anschließend geklont wurde- Ende - und weitere Ergüsse in der Art, hört für mich der Spaß auf! Wer Carolines Schlagzeugsolo mit Mick Fleetwood gesehen hat, mag urteilen und Sharons Violinensolos gehören weltweit zu den besten, Andrea hätte ein dünnes Stimmchen... es ist einfach lächerlich!Beim Bonnkonzert haben die vier in der vierten Zugabe ohne Begleitgruppe und zum Teil ohne Instrumente gespielt, gesungen!Nun gut, derjenige ist hier unter dem Titel: Unauffälliger Einheitsbrei- zu finden.Man sollte die Rezensionen doch nicht so ernst nehmen. Masse ist eben nicht gleich Klasse!

Sehr gute Musik
Ein älteres Album von den irischen Geschwistern aus dem Jahr 1998. Mir gefällt der erste Song What can I do. Habe ich seit Ewigen nicht mehr gehört. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Questo è un cd audio a cui tengo particolarmente e grazie alla professionalità di Amazon sono riuscito ad averlo a un prezzo affare. Questa è la mia band preferita e ogni canzone è davvero speciale. Lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti della buona musica ^^

Hat schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel, ist aber immer wieder gut anzuhören. Wer The Corrs mag, wird auch diese Album gerne hören.

Es la edición mejorada y remasterizada que incluye la versión del tema Dreams de FleetwoodMac. Es un álbum exquisito, diría que el mejor de The Coors. Música aparte, el producto es de primera calidad y la entrega fue rapidísima. Vendedor muy recomendable.
