good resource
This is a good resource for understanding the play. It is quite long, so probably best used as you study the play rather than waiting for that last minute revision. Useful for listening in the car - I learnt a lot about the play (which I have never read) but I'm not sure how much my son, who was studying it for GCSE, took in. Oh well, you can take a horse to water but you can'tt make it drink.... Different methods of learning suit different people.

The Inspector Revealed
Intended primarily for students this Guide's principal features are an unabridged performance of the play by a highly competent professional cast and an accompanying analysis by a commentator designated as The Pass Master. This latter element is cleverly structured by having The Pass Master talking to a student called Will and making him part of the presentation, while at the same time adopting a teacher/pupil relationship. In addition there is much useful information about Priestley's life and career and student-friendly advice on such topics as study strategies, essay planning and coursework. The entire enterprise is a model of its kind.

OK for a student's revision, but useless as a teaching tool.
It's OK - however, the play is repeatedly interrupted by the analysis. It may well be unabridged, but it's pretty useless if you want to use it with a class of students.
