Great hammock
Love this hammock. It is so soft. Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. Has an adorable travel case should you want to travel with it. True color. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. It’s a little pricey but I bought this brand because we loved the hammocks on the Virgin cruise ship and it’s suppose to be the one they use.

Nice hammock
This is a really nice hammock. I bought this hammock to take camping and it holds up fine. However the way it is made makes me doubt it’s durability for that purpose. If you plan on maybe keeping this in a backyard or putting this through light to moderate use then this is a great product. I don’t think it will withstand the constant beating of my camping cycles like I wanted it to but that isn’t really what this product is designed for. All in all very well made, super comfortable, and worth the money.

Awesome hammock!
So colorful and comfortable! I don't even usually like hammocks but I really like this one. And I love that it includes the name of the person who made it on the tag!

Beautiful but impractical
Is it gorgeous? Yes. Does it shred? Also yes. I figured it was a fluke, reached out to Yellow Leaf and got a free replacement. That replacement has shredded too! The very fine cords snap at the part where the cords drape over the beam; no matter how carefully I get on it. I will be replacing it with some 40 dollar cheap product. I am so disappointed that this fair trade item did not stand up to actual life.

Great little hammock! Not slippery.
I had returned a hammock from another company that was so slick I fell out of it . This is perfect. And comes in its own great looking bag. It arrived promptly and was packaged correctly. It’s not waterproof but dries really quickly. And it’s comfortable. Well done Yellowleaf,

Expectation met!
So, I wanted to write a review because I have been searching for the PERFECT plus size hammock for quite awhile. I’m a 5’5” female and I weigh 250lbs. I also have a 5 year old and toddler who like to hammock with mom, so I’ve been very particular about finding a durable hammock I feel secure in 🙈. I will say, I bought a cotton hammock from Amazon that had been great to us for 2 seasons but we left it out in the weather and it molded. It was fairly inexpensive and comfortable but you did feel like you were submerged in it which was okay sometimes but not always what I wanted. With that said, I bought an eno double nest. I was so disappointed. The only thing I liked about this hammock was the convenient way it would package back into itself and it was very light and already hand the carabiner clips attached. It was super roomy, but laying down in it was like being in a covered pot. It is supposed to be breathable but I found it so much less appealing than my cheap cotton hammock. The edges were so taught that it was almost painful to get out of. Now on to the yellow leaf. I saw them online and laughed out loud at the price. $200-300 for a hammock?? I was intrigued though. I thought, what could be so great about this that it’s so expensive? I realize it is made by hand and appreciate this but I still couldn’t fathom paying that much money. Well, wouldn’t you know, they’re on Amazon! I decided to buy the single hammock just to see if it was really too good to be true, I could send it right back after all. It came and I wasn’t sold. Maybe a lighter smaller person would have had a better experience with this model. It is a weave of hundreds of strings of yarn. If you pull it is is super strong and firm, but stretched to the side it opens the weave and gives you more give and room. Right where you sit would be so taught it would almost go up your crack if you didn’t roll from side to side to pull the middle apart. I decided to send it back and try the family size. After all, it was pretty cozy after you worked yourself in. Laying down, I could wrap the hammock around me like a cacoon but it didn’t overtake me in a regular position and it was actually quite heavenly feeling. But maybe where I’m not used to this style of weave, I didn’t really like that you could see my body through it. It didn’t feel like I had a lot of privacy to hide the wobbly bits. Family size arrived today and oh my word. It is perfect! Absolutely perfect. It fit me like a glove. It had just the right amount of give and it had so much more fabric that the weave wasn’t stretched out on the sides so I didn’t feel completely exposed in the smaller size. The annoying taughtness in the center was gone! I could lay sideways and the edges didn’t ride up on me so I was able to look out into the yard. It is so comfortable and fluid. It feels delicate and strong at the same time. I’m curious how it might hold up, but despite the $300 price point, I have decided to keep this one because I found my perfect hammock and hopefully we will have a lot of years together. One thing I do want to add. There are Mayan hammocks available for a third of the price. I am curious how those would compare to this. I might try one of those and re-review, but as of now, this hammock gets 4 stars because it’s not really affordably practical, but truly it is the perfect hammock 😁

Really nice and a great cause
Ordered the hammock and the base. The base is really nice - can break down to 3 pieces and is easy to put together and take apart. Hammock is well made and so soft! Both me and my husband were able to sit comfortably in it and watch the kids play. You can also sit upright or lying down and both ways are just as nice. Love the carrying case too - makes it nice to store it in our camping tub and keeps it clean and together.
