Kid sized; Pain to assemble alone
Smaller than expected. Still works perfectly fine for book/toy storage and is actually easier for her to use anyway. Kind of a pain in the butt to assemble. Actually very sturdy though so it’s worth taking the extra time to do it right.

Small but durable and cute
I will say, this is definitely a two person assembly job. I tried doing it by myself but my fiancé stepped in hours later to have to help me. I feel this is perfect for a toddler or young child’s bedroom. It is smaller than what I imagined but I don’t think I read the measurements and went off of the picture lol. It’s perfect for my one year old’s bedroom. And yes I put a tv on the nook part of it because she’s 1 and can’t read yet and sometimes I need my virtual babysitter Ms Rachel. ANYWAYS, good for storing toys and books. Only thing is, for a toddler make sure you watch them if they are opening the drawers, because the drawers are mounted on wheels so it makes it easier for them to accidentally close the drawer on their hand and fingers. Overall, very sturdy and I’m not worried it going to fall over on her.

Cute and Functional
When we initially received the unit, it was missing one side. However, the company quickly shipped the missing piece and my granddaughter and I spent an afternoon putting together the bookcase/window seat. The directions were easy to follow, but it definitely needs to sets of hands. Once we put it together, I recovered the cushion to match my granddaughter 's bedroom. She filled it quickly and couldn't wait to show her friends. Since we put it under a window, she loves to curl up on the window seat to look outside and to read. This is a great addition to her bedroom. It is cute, functional, sturdy enough for a 7-year old, holds most of her doll stuff, and it really does keep her toys organized. It was well worth the price and the wait for the missing piece.

Kids bookshelf : beautiful
It’s super cute !! I wish the instructions were better, it took me longer to assemble because the instructions weren’t clear. You definitely need 2 people to assemble, it came out beautiful though! My son loves it.

Sturdy and perfect for a 4 year old. Took a while to put together. Would be faster if you use a drill. My Screw driver worked fine. Instructions were great.

Works great for us.
I’ve had this for a year for my kids. My husband built it and it was easy to build; I think there was just one issue with one of the screws but he was able to manage that. The compartments on the bottom fit most books well but the square compartments only fit board books. The gray fabric around the cushion is machine washable (at least it did well for us). It helps us keep toys and books organized.

Cutest Bookshelf
I bought this bookshelf for my gaming room, as one of my main colors in it is pink (the other is black). I didn't put this together myself (I made the hubby do it!), but it didn't take him long at all, and it turned out very nicely. I love how the drawers at the bottom have a "star" as the pull. I *imagine* you can change that out if you really don't like it, as there's a screw behind the pull, but I'm not sure as I haven't tried or wanted to change it out myself. The bottom drawers are on "rollers" so they're supposed to come out easily, however I have carpet in my gaming room and they really do not come out smoothly on carpet. The carpet I have isn't special or expensive either, it's very, very cheap carpet that you'd probably see in a dorm room or an apartment that's trying to save money. When I want to open one of the bottom drawers, I lift the drawer up slightly so that it doesn't drag on the carpet; that way the drawer will open easily. Maybe it works better on a different surface, such as hardwood or laminate. Again, I'm not sure of that because I've only had it in my gaming room where there's carpet. Overall though, I love this bookshelf! The main reason I bought it was for the little reading nook. I'm an adult woman, but I'm only 5'5 and 96lbs, so the nook is perfect for someone of my size. I haven't really decorated my bookshelf yet, but I'm really excited to.
