This dryer element is cheaply made and it made it about 2 months before failing.
Total piece of cheap crap. The metal plate that holds the heater element coils warped after about 2 months of use causing a short when the heater coils touched the wall of the heater pipe and the Electrolux dryer showed an E63 code. I ordered a Frigidaire dryer element to replace this cheap junk and noted that the Frigidaire has a metal plate the ceramic spacers mount to that is about twice as thick as this alleged "quality" item had the ceramic spacers/coils mounted to. Just purchase the Frigidaire or Electrolux brand part the first time and save yourself a headache.

Electrolux EIED55HIW / E64 code - back in operation
Electrolux EIED55HIW - E64 - "last call under warranty" replaced the safety thermostat and (apparently) left the half melted heating element in place to finally die out-of-warranty (with E64 buzzing away) I resolved to replace it myself. I found a youtube video on replacing the element from the rear of the dryer (without removing the drum and door)-- and it went rather well. (your mileage may vary). The most difficult part of the process was cross referencing the various part numbers for the element and the *two* thermostat/safety elements. Given the cost-of-parts vs cost-of-service-call savings I decided to "shotgun" the repair and replace both thermostat/safety elements along with the heater. Advice: have a stubby "broad tip" phillips screw driver and a good work light in hand. Observe power safety at all times, and don't forget the black wire when reassembling.Updated: the first of these lasted 6 months, the second one 3 months. In both cases the mounting plate for the heating coils warped and shorted out. I bumped up to a sturdier model this time around - will update if it exceeds 6 months. On the up-side, I'm really good at replacing these now. FWIW - the exhaust ductwork is new and clean, so I don't think I'm subjecting it to undue stress.

Connectors were too big, had to be filed down but works great currently.
***EDIT: I just changed my rating from four stars to one star for this product. It was one thing when the part didn’t fit and needed tweaking immediately before it could be used but now it has quit working after 12 weeks. This part is way too much of a pain to access and replace on our dryer for only 12 weeks of use.****The price of this part was (at the time of purchase) about half the price of the OEM product direct from the supplier. We ordered it and my husband disassembled everything from within our dryer (thanks You Tube). He goes to put this new piece on and guess what? Doesn’t fit. At the time of our purchase, back in May, there were very few reviews for this and most were positive. My husband goes to the two well-known hardware stores here in town to try and find the correct connector size. No luck. He stopped working on the repair. Lovely. Thankfully, in the meantime, someone posted a review and mentioned grinding down the connectors. We deliberated on that versus just sending the part back. In the end, we were feeling wild and crazy, so the connectors were filed down.Thank goodness that worked! It has been about a month now and so far, so good. No issues (knock on wood). As I went to leave this review I see that MANY people are now saying the same thing about the connectors being the wrong size or just that this part is an inferior part compared to the OEM part. I sure wish these reviews had been posted before we bought our part because I probably would not have bought this. Fingers crossed that ours keeps working as good as it is currently.

Did not last through warranty period
Lasted about 6 months then popped a wire. I ordered an OEM one and you can see that is the shiny new one next to this one.Circled in red is where the wire popped off. It is not shown in the pictures very well but it had a lot of warping inside and the outside showed some discoloration from where the coils had warped close to the outside sheet metal. Luckily this was opposite from where the wires run to power the heater otherwise I think I would be replacing wiring also. When I removed my original element the coils were sagging and one finally broke, however, they were evenly discolored. As you can see in the photo the wires are not discolored at the front of the unit at all, however they are severely blackened in the middle. Not worth the risk of burning down the house to save a couple dollars and, in fact, after a little bit of searching on Amazon.com I found the OEM one for the same price.

Not reliable unit but good customer service
Fit great, perfect match, have had for several months with no issues.Edit: 8/12/18Well, about three months in got same E63 error. Took apart and one of the coils had burned out. Going back and reading reviews this seems to be a common trend, units last ~3 months before failure.I would give the part a 1 or 2 star rating since it failed prematurely and appears to be a common trend. I would give the seller a 4 to 5 star rating for providing a replacement quickly. I ended up purchasing a similar unit that has better, older reviews before requesting a refund for this one. Seller would not provide refund but did honor replacement warranty so kudos to them in that regard. I will keep as a back up in case this other unit fails as well.

Main power terminals were oversized
The main power terminals were oversized for the connectors on my Frigidaire dryer. Given the choice to grind them down to fit or change the connectors on the dryer, I ground them down to fit. Works fine, but shouldn't have to do that to a brand new part. Before anyone says anything, yes, I checked and I ordered a part that was supposed to be compatible with my dryer (FASE7074NW0).Updated - 6/19/2018 - After a month of use, the part has failed. See other comments which state the same. Buyer Beware! Wish I could make this zero stars.

Don't buy
Mine lasted 13 months, don't waste your money. Thin coil wire, can't take the heat, made out of the country. I should have looked at the reviews, it only has 2 stars. (80) This time I bought by the reviews got one with 4 stars (305). Don't waste your money.
