Looks can be deceiving
The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because of the lesson it helped me teach my 11 year old daughter. Otherwise, I would’ve given this watch 1 Star, less if it was possible.The lesson was that just because it has 4.5 stars doesn’t necessarily mean it’s 4.5 stars worth of quality product. Now, she knows to read the reviews no matter how many stars the product has.The watch is poor quality wrapped in a nice case. The winding that allows you to set the time, and open the case to view the watch is one in the same. The main problem being that you can’t open the case to view the watch without the watch thinking you are setting the time and stopping the seconds hand. Which inadvertently stops the clock from working all together until you pull the pin just right. Looks good closed, but if you are looking for anything other than a novelty item, look elsewhere.

It's a Doctor Who pocketwatch...
...Of course I love it. I got it with another watch I wear and use everyday. This is for cosplay, Halloween and other reasons to dress up. (My community theater company uses a lot of pocket watches. Only people who know and are onstage with the person using the watch will know that this is a Doctor Who watch.)I've had it a week or so. It still works, so maybe four stars for durability is possibly unfair. Maybe it's an unfair question. If it's still keeping time in a year, I'll change it.

Keeps time very well
This is a daily wear pocket watch. it has been in my pocket with keys for more than 5 months now. It still on time and not broken. The clock opens easily and snaps shut. A pocket watch at this price and this durable is amazing. Plus, as a middle school teacher, a non-digital clock is a learning tool. Of course they hate non-digital clocks, but they have learned nonetheless. There is no digital clock in my classroom.

Great for a Harry Potter Fan
Great birthday gift for my Harry Potter loving granddaughter! She desperately wanted a pocket watch, and this was perfect. She loves it! It came with an extra battery, and after reading the Q&A for the watch, I was able to figure out how to open it and set the time. There were no instructions in the package. The finish is brass, so I'm fairly certain that it will shine up as needed.

Nice watch!
Really nice watch. Not heavy. My only drawback to it is that I didn't realize the face had images of Harry and Voldemort in it. From my glance at the photos, the face just looked black with white Roman numerals. So that was a little surprising. I was hoping it was just black so that son could carry it into teen years or older without feeling like it was a kiddie thing.

Poop watch.
This watch is very cheaply made. You can tell by the weight of it once you hold it, it's poor quality. When you inspect the watch you can tell that it is a cheap made product mass produced in china. The images on the watch aren't what is expected. They get around copyright laws by changing images or designs by at least 10%. This makes for some odd designs and look.I was gonna give this as a gift, but I think it's just gonna end up a junk costume piece for the kids to destroy

Such a neat watch
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!! My nephew is a huge Harry Potter fan I got this for his birthday and it was the hit of his day!! He loved this! It’s such a unique gift and looks really quality I would 100% buy it again for another Harry Potter fan

Excellent but does have a problem.
For one thing, I'm a big fan of classy accessories, especially pocket watches. Even though the size was listed, I was a little disappointed by the size of the watch. More importantly, the decorations on the watch (mine being the one with the wolves) was absolutely amazing! I love the metal work done inside and outside. I love that they gave a necklace chain and a belt chain and that it is relatively easy to change according to what you need. Now comes the big con for me. The metal chain for the belt seems to be pretty cheap. It bends trying to get it off my belt (though by itself is not the worst) and the little piece that holds the belt connector together is very flimsy/loose. I wished the whole piece were just that, one piece. Hopefully, I did not damage it too much when I tried squeezing the metal cylinder around the two pieces of metal that make the belt connector. Other than that, I think that this will make an excellent gift to a classic enthusiast such as myself or to those that just love little nick-knacks.Sincerely,Corwin
