Mcdobexy Portable Shoulder Bag for DJI Tello Drone with Gamesir T1D Gamepad Remote Controller Case

I have quite a few of these style of cases for various gadgets - Mavic Pro, Gopro clones etc and am always pleased with the relatively low price for the quality and this one is no different. It is nice and solid with firm corners and offers excellent protection for the Tello. At first I thought the controller would not fit but I had not pushed it in far enough - it really is a tight fit - noihing wrong with that though, it will not damage it. Same thing with the Tello and I thought maybe it was designed for it without the prop guards on. However I had the Tello the wrong way round and again when I pushed it in then all was well. There is very little clearance between the lip that runs round the case and the prop guards but when you feel this lip it is solid so I really can't see this close tolerance will be a problem.There are five empty compartments in the case when the Tello and controller are in place. Two larger ones at either end, one in the middle and two narrow slots on either side of the Tello. The narrow slots will each take a battery and each of the three larger compartments will take two. You could in theory then have seven batteries (one in the Tello) ! The spare props and key will just go in the widest part of the two end larger compartments so you can carry two spare sets.Now we come to the downsides. My new 3 battery charger * will not fit in any of the compartments. This is one of the smaller chargers I could find but there may be smaller ones that would fit. I can lay it on top of the controller and if I put it in a thin padded bag this would be acceptable. The Xiaomi wifi repeater ** will not fit in anywhere but again could be laid on the top. See photo with my two batteries in the narrow slots, the spare props in one of the side compartments, and charger and repeater lying on top.There is one significant missing feature which I have deducted a star for. All my other EVA cases of this type have a mesh pocket in the lid. This is really useful for bits of paperwork, manuals and USB lead etc and this case does not have one :(. I can fold up a USB lead and fit it easily in one of the large compartments but I will still miss this pocket.To end on some more good bits. The overall quality and finish is very good with no visible blemishes. The handle is substantial and better than most and the retaining clips for the shoulder straps are also very good. On some of my cases I don't trust these clips and have a cable tie as a backup. This is true with my Mavic Pro case which I frequently pass to my wife when we are getting on/off our boat. The vision of one of these clips failing and the Mavic dropping into the water is not a nice one ;) . These clips are much better and also the swivel seems fairly bombproof.So all in all I am pleased with it. IMO everyone who has a Tello should get a case like this. This holds the Tello and controller perfectly, with space for 2 x batteries. The sections for props / additional covers (as shown in my photo) are a bit pointless as they are too small. But overall this is a good case for the Tello. Previous case I had was returned, as the controller wouldn’t fit at all!

Shame as it was a really good case. Everything fitted well but returned because of the burnt chemical plastic smell. My concerns is that this is carcinogenic.
