It is exactly how you remember it and better. I never cared much for the cartoon, I could see it's appeal but the original series is just brilliant! A must for any fan who does not particularly want the complete collection with the the cartoon and the rather questionable films. It's not that the films were bad and it's not even that I particularly love the use of laughter tracks in sitcoms, it's just that without the laughter track, Mr. Bean seems a bit lonely. No need to worry here though, series 1 - 5 is as good as it gets!

I got this as a present for my boyfriend (and for myself of course! heh) He was really pleased with it and wanted to watch it straight away, which we did. bSomeone in said in the review that disc 1 it was actually disc 2 and disc 2 is actually disc one. I didn't have any problem with the DVD box set we got, they must have fix the error.If you love Mr Bean, this is worth getting, especially with the price at the moment!

I was very unhappy with this DVD set, as each DVD stuck whilst being played. It started to jump the moment it was inserted into the machine. I was very embarressed, as it was a gift and the person whom I gave it to told me not to worry, and that she would keep it anyway. I shall no longer be buying through this seller.

I and my family are thrilled to now own the entire collection of Mr Bean sketches. It is family fun that can be watched time and again and still remain just as hilarious. I also use these DVDs with my English students and they all love Mr Bean, from primary school to adults!

This is the complete collection of the Mr. Bean TV show starring the rubber faced Rowan Atkinson. Mr. Bean finds himself in all sorts of situations, from sitting exams to decorating his house all of course with the usual hilarity as drama after crisis after calamity all unfold throughout the sketch accompanied by Atkinsons facial expressions which appear to reveal his characters thought process as the situation unfolds. There are even times when Mr. bean actually speaks which is unusual and often funny in itself. Not all the sketches maintain the high comedy standard but are somewhat interesting nonetheless. There are a few extras on the dvds such as the cartoon Mr. bean which in my opinion are pointless.

I bought these for my father-in-law. He loved them. I give it five stars, therefore, though I can't call myself a fan.

We love family laughing time and this set from Mr Bean is timeless and comes out very often when we have family time. Go to bed happy after an evening with Mr Bean.

Bought this set for our two daughters, aged 5 and 10. The youngest thinks it is BRILLIANT (even though she does play the same scenes over and over again). Great family entertainment, well worth the money if you're a Bean fan.
