Easier than a Roll Pin
Easy to use. Drilled out my trigger guard with the 5/32 bit (as stated on the product page) and pressed one side in at a time using my bench vise. They went in without issue and are working great. Used these in a BCM trigger guard too.

did the job i wanted it too.
I got the product in the mail in a timely manner, pretty happy about that. I did run into a problem with installation. the "brass" pieces which was supposed to insert into the cavity in the trigger guard broke during installation. My fault? maybe, I did what the instructions said and they failed me, they said I could use pliers and I tried. I left the original roll pin in place and screwed the front screw strait into the trigger guard, no brass bolt. all in all I am happy with the product, it got the job done, just not in the designed way. I feel if I could have drilled out the cavity I could've been more successful, but it sounds risky and I don't own a drill. I would recommend this to a friend but I would do it cautiously. But it is a good replacement if you lost the front screw that was provided by Magpul.

If you can not perform this simple install.. ...
If you can not perform this simple install...you should not be allowed to own a weapon. Takes all of 5 minutes to drill and insert the bushings. Works fine with aluminum. Gently squeeze pliers to press the bushing into the trigger guard. Make sure you press evenly on the brass bushing and insert the split end into the guard.

Good kit, use care
Overall, the kit is fine. You just need to be careful installing it. The screws really need a bigger wrench socket to properly torque them without slipping/stripping out. I have pretty much every Allen wrench/Torx wrench under the sun for gunsmithing, and the screw for the blind trigger guard hole could cause problems for some folks. Be sure to drill the poly trigger guard as instructed for the inserts, and maybe use a dab of lube on the blind screw hole. That said, I will probably use more of these kits in the future.

Easy to use even in the aluminum guard.
Shipping was quick and after removing the original roll pin I was able to carefully use a 5/32" drill bit on the aluminum Magpul trigger guard for the rear inserts. I tapped the inserts in place with a brass faced hammer without issues. The screws included are 2mm Allen wrench sized and tightened securely.I would recommend these for anyone that uses the Magpul trigger guards.

Well worth the money, especially if you are a novice AR builder
Well worth the money in my opinion. Every one I build gets one unless the customer requests otherwise. Even experienced armorers can have a roll pin bite them in the rear sometimes and snap an ear off. I mainly do it though because I think it looks better and if a customer wants to change it out later for something else, they won't beat the snot out of my reciever getting it out. By the way, the same kit works on both aluminum and poly, they have different part numbers but the parts are identical. The manufacturer even lists only one for both on their website, entirelycrimson.com. Also they have detailed instructions there.

Half worked.
The problem I have is the hex head doesn't fit any hex-wrenches out there. It's not metric and it's not standard. I ended up using a different screw entirely.
