This set performs VERY well, especially considering the price point. I bought this to be able to see wildlife in the field behind my home and it's extremely clear, even when the moon is not bright.Some highlights:- Intuitive and easy to understand controls, there are focus knobs to help you focus on different distances- Comfortable, I use them primarily as binoculars, but I set up the head mount and it worked well also- CLEAR PICTURE. I was very impressed with how clear the picture is, even for long distances!- Battery life. I've used these lightly probably 15-20 times and the battery is still running. I'm happy with the performance there.Things I didn't know before purchasing- The zoom is static, meaning it is always set to 5x zoom. This is great for my purposes, but if you want to use these inside it might be a deal breaker for you- The binoculars are a good size, comfortable in an adult's hands, keep this in mind if you plan on mounting them to your head/helmet- IR does not work through windows, you'll need to use these outside if you're looking for wildlifeFor the price I don't know if these can be beat, I've thoroughly enjoyed them so far and they haven't given me any issues.

I got this for my grandsons who live in the Mountain West with abundant animals on open spaces and parklands. the clarity of view and ease of use are remarkable! The size of the binoculars and build quality are terrific. Additionally, the sharply designed and shaped compact carry case for the binoculars is a great way to store them when not in use. I think the cost is very reasonable for the quality and capability of these night-vision binoculars.

Update, they no longer work after 2 weeks.Literally you can see in pitch darkness. They are slightly zoomed in, so walking with them on would be hard but using them like binoculars works perfect.

Must have if you need to see who is coming from the dark. Camera with memory card is such a great function. Clear enough to see details at night. Compact and lightweight. Fun gadget with a great value and high quality.

The night vision is you can see in the dark, however the black and white image is just ok. It would had been better if the focusing was automatic and magnification allows you to judge how far you are from an object. Overall for the price it could be better
