Product description The SIM electrical elements are a basic, single heating element. SIM has built in protection against overheating and is fitted with a bimetal temperature limiter. Device available in a wide range of power outputs from 100W to 1000W. Dual Fuel Functionality when combined with a T-Piece Design: SIM has a stainless steel housing. It does not have an on/off switch on its housing so it must be controlled externally either by a timer or switched fused spur. A version is available with switch located on the plug. Intelligent Building Systems: SIM is suitable for connection to external timers and intelligent building systems Safety: SIM has an exceptionally high degree of moisture ingress protection and is fitted with a thermal fuse to prevent overheating of the radiator. Well made, attractive and easy to fit
Attractive and effective; easy to fit. The short length will endure it stays submerged and won’t overheat even if air gets into the radiator.

does not fit in Reina Ginosa towel rail heater
Stainless steel throat flange (the part that needs to enter the radiator before the threaded coupling) is too long and too large in diameter to fit in the Reina Ginosa style towel rail heater. Had to grind it down by ~1.5mm in order to enable installation.

Used in a towel rail the 600watt output was more than enough to give warm fluffy towels
