At best this is a toy. I should have known better.

This thing is Junk! nothing but cheap Junk!I was taken away with the dream of being able to capture beautiful images on my cellphone screen from unheard of distances, how great would it be to have a little device like this in your pocket! you would never need to buy an expensive camera set up ever again! So I was looking for one of these that had a lot of reviews, this one had 100, 5 star reviews so I picked this one. The pictures make this thing look like it can capture moving objects from hundreds of yards away and seamlessly fill your cellphone screen with crystal clear, beautifully vividly colorful images. All you need to do is clip on your cellphone and point this at a bird flying 1,000 yards away and BAM! you can see everything! your screen is filled with bold beautiful color!Well, the way they made it look it never occurred to me that everything in the add was total BS and it was all too good to be true!1. The 100, 5 star reviews are for another product entirely! they are talking about batteries, this thing is a plain old scope, no batteries!2. The thing that mounts it to your cellphone is backwards, the camera lens on my iPhone is on the left, this thing is made for one on the right, don't think I've ever seen a cellphone of any kind with the camera lens on the right. So this thing mounts on all cockeyed.3. A high power scope is useless without a tripod. This thing includes a tripod but there is no way to mount it on the tripod! that's right no way to mount it! No hole to screw it on to or anything! Try to hold this steady while tracking flying birds 1,000 yards away with out a tripod!4. They make it look like this thing can capture objects from hundreds of yards away, and fill up your screen with beautiful, crystal clear color images, but really all you see is a little circle in the middle of your screen and the rest of the screen is black. Yep, believe it or not it looks about like what your eye would see looking down a little tiny hole of a cheap scope, a little tiny blurry dim image about 1-1/2 inches wide.This thing ruined it for me so bad I won't even bother looking for a better one, don't waste your time or money, these things are such a hoax! Don't be fooled, none of these will work like they show in the pictures. Even if it was a quality well made scope with a crystal clear image, that didn't mount backwards on your phone and fit well on a tripod, you still will only get a little tiny circle image on your screen, nothing magical about it. This thing is so cheaply made I would expect to find it on the shelf of a dollar store.

they do not last even one (1) month.

I purchased these because I have 2 boys that go through so many batteries with there battery sucking toys. Rechargeables save me lots of money. These AAA batteries have a good charge to them. I have no problems fitting them in to battery compartments. There size is a standard AAA battery size. They seem to last just as long as more expensive brand rechargeable. They come in a nice plastic carry case that keeps them all together. Me and my wallet are pleased with my purchase.

First two batteries were dead upon attempting to recharge them.
