I'm disappointed.The packaging is great, the battery looks competently made, the instructions are clear, and in many languages.B ut.The power plug - I've used many surface mount plugs in my career, and this one was -off- a little bit. The dimensions just weren't quite right.When I pressed on the tiny 3mm plug, one end broke away. The battery power plug then fitted into place. I noticed it was askew though - not at 90 degrees to the phone socket.I should have sent it back, but I needed my phone powered - and the old battery didn't survive the removal due to all the glue.It'd be a 5 stars if the plug had been correctly made, or just a 1 in the battery had arrived on its own.... Together - I'd give the overall unit a 3.It's charged well the first night, and showing 4.25v, 100% charge.I'm hoping the power plug stays in place! It's expensive for a replacement battery...

Fitted perfectly, I now get a good day of power from the phone with high usage was Easy to fit by watching a you tube video

Got this in April 2018 and after about 3 months decided to attempt to fit battery myself using the provided instructions. I couldnt open the back and not wanting to break it went to a shop to get it fitted. Overall the cost was slightly more than of i had gone direct to samsung and got a brand new original battery fitted and would have retained the warranty. Also this didnt seem to last any longer than the original but it may be marginally better but i couldnt compare to be 100% sure. The worst thing is my phone kept shutting down after about 8 months of use and when taken to a phone shop found it was the battery and had it replaced with an original. This battery has ended up as an expensive mistake sadly. The german sounding name made me think it may be a superior battery but that is not the case here.

My two year old galaxy S8 (Exynos w/custom Rom) was struggling to stay alive for half a day previously. It got alot of abuse and was used in a hot country for hours on end, sometimes recording 4k video for up to an hour at a time(camera hack) Accubattery reported an estimated 2500Mah when it should have been 3000, and also fast charging never worked and it used to get very hot.I received the new battery and everything was straight forward. I used a hairdryer to slowly take the back off, which was cracked from before but didn't crack anymore taking it off. I wish I had cleaned the old glue off better when I stuck the back on but overall everything fit well and sticks together nicely, the sticky plastic to glue the back on provided wasn't amazing but I think that was my fault for rushing. The new battery holds the charge alot better, I can now make it through most of the day with heavy usage(YouTube, games, Browing Reddit and web/ social media) and if don't touch it I'm sure it would last alot longer. Accubattery currently estimates 56hrs off screen time or 6 hours screen on, or 11hours combined usage, which I feel is correct. Also my fast charging works again so the phone will go from 0 to 100 in roughly 1:15 minutes or so. All in all I'm pleased with the results and for 30euros I feel like the phone will last me another year at least.

Received this on time as promised. No fault with delivery. The suction cup snapped within seconds of trying to remove the cover from the back of the phone. It is u derstod that getting the cover off is quite tough. I then took the phone to a professional and paid £25 for them to install the Hagnaven battery. Having followed all instructions this battery does not hold a charge for more than half to 75% of the day. I do not use location tracking services and do not spend a long time on the phone. Most disappointing.

Purchased item a few weeks ago, but louses 1st 10% charge within 5 minutes, also when using phone depletes around 40% within 40 minutes, it's around a % per minute. Little to no use lasts about 6 hours....

I purchased this new battery for my phone as it just didn't keep the charge. It arrived very promptly and in perfect condition.. The packaging was very secure. Unfortunately, there were no instructions so I will now have to go and get a phone shop to install it for me. I feel it kind of defeats the purpose but I'm sure it will be fine.

Recently bought a power bank that doesn't work now this. Finally opened up my device to install this, the ribbon cable on the battery (NOT on my phone) was ripped. So it was shipped in a state where it can never work, even if installed correctly. Ropey
