Galaxy S9+ Plus Case, YOUMAKER Crystal Clear with Built-in Screen Protector Full-Body Heavy Duty Protection Slim Fit Shockproof Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus (2018) - Clear/Blue/Black

First of all, I love how thin this case is compared to others, including the other model that this same company has.The case itself is two pieces, the screen protector portion and the actual backing/case. You first take the plastic wrap off all the clear parts, then insert your phone into the screen protector side first. You then put the bottom in and gently push the rest of the phone in from bottom up. Be sure that the buttons (volume/power/bixby) all go in their respective slots because the first time I installed it, I misaligned the power button and could not actually press the button; it was a quick 30 second fix though.The back is very sleek looking, which is a double edged sword. It looks sleek, but also feels slick and may make it easier for your phone to slide out of your hand. The fitment is spot on with very little extra space. I should also note, it almost seems like it has some coating that helps prevent fingerprints. Don't quote me on that and I'll update this review whether it truly attracts fingerprints over time and after aging or not.I've tried most of the S9+ case/screen protector combos and this seems like the least bulky one that offers enough protection for the occasional, accidental drop without any quirks. The SUPCASE case/screen protector combo which I originally had installed, had a rainbowing effect on the screen protector whenever the phone got squeezed in my pocket or when the phone itself got hot, say from charging; it hasn't happened to me yet for this case. The case was also really bulky, think Otterbox. The other case/screen protector combo from YOUMAKER themselves (the same company of this one) is also rather bulky and the black is not actually black, it's grey.Overall, for the price, I feel like you can't really go wrong with this case. You get a case that's protective of the phone and also a screen protector that's protective of the screen. If you were to buy both separately they would most likely cost more.*** Update: I've noticed rainbowing under the same conditions as the SUPCASE for this case as well. It isn't unusable, but I am bumping down my review from a 5 to a 4 star review for that very reason.*** Update 2 (additional info from ~2 weeks of daily use): The rainbowing effect (further explained in the comments below while answering someone's question) is happening much less now and helps if you squeeze both sides of the case inward whenever it happens. The back does seem to attract fingerprints, while not as much as the screen protector on the front, it's still noticeable; the back is also pretty prone to scratching, if you want to keep it pristine you'll have to be extremely careful. I was going to bump up the review back up to a 5 after the rainbowing issue pretty much went away, but because of the fingerprints and scratching on the back, I'm leaving it at a 4 star review. Still a great product and a great overall purchase.

The case came with no instructions other than to remove the screen protector film from both sides of the front and rear of the case. The case feels really light and cheap. The screen protector and rear glass protector is just a heavy duty piece of cellophane type plastic. I left my old glass screen protector on the screen for added protection.After peeling back the edge of the black rubber I saw how to separate he front piece from the back. Wiping the phone down with a soft towel, I then set it in the bottom/ back piece and began pressing the front piece in. It took some work to get it in snug, but discovered the power button wasn't quite aligned with the nub in the case. It took a bit more to get the edge pulled up and align the button nub. There's no way this is going to fall off. If you routinely take your micro sd card out this phone case will give you problems. I noticed a speck of dirt trapped inside the rear and pulled the case apart. It was a chore to separate the case. The touch sensitivity is decent with my phones sensitivity turned up with this case (and my old glass protector behind it).It collects finger prints like mad, but so does the phone with no case.I only just got it, but so far I'm satisfied for what I paid. I only wish the screen protector was hardened plastic. Oh btw, the blue with black is more metallic powder blue with black. The color on the edge also seems to shift as it reflects the surroundings (which is why it seems to be that bright electric blue in the photos. I have the blue S9+ and the border accents that color well.

I like almost everything about this product. It looks good, and it has a clear cover for the screen. It's very easy to clamp onto the phone, in 2 separate pieces, and it looks elegant too. This is a good time for me to review it, because I've had it for about 11 months now, and I know it's durable, and long lasting. It also provides a very good shielding for the phone, in case the phone is dropped, or it bumps something. For all these qualities I've described, I would give it a 5 star rating. However, there is one minor defect, and I really don't know how the designer could fix it. Dust gets inside, front and back. If I take the phone case apart and clean it inside, it's dusty again in just a month or so. It's not a significant problem, but enough for me to remove one star from the overall rating. Other than the dust, it's a great phone case!

The case fit my phone pretty good and snug. Can definitely say that there's like a little bit of room between the phone and the case itself when you put your phone inside the case so the case isn't as I would like it to be protectionwise. Putting it together was pretty easy. Overall good case but not the most durable. Within the first week after putting the case on, I already noticed a scratch on the built-in screen protector simply because I put my phone in the same pocket as my keys. That's probably because the screen protector isn't as thick and durable as other protectors I have bought before so I wouldn't consider it "Heavy-Duty Protection" since it got some scratches from keys. The same goes for the back of the case. Overall, the protector didn't stick to my phone as I thought it would have but the case is ok to withstand everyday usage.

I always buy cases for a new phone, so when I switched to a Samsung Galaxy 9+, I knew it would be a challenge to find one that protected the curved screen. I tried a Spigen bumper case with the curved tempered glass screen cover, not a good combo as the tempered glass cover does not fit under the case, it keeps lifting. So then I purchased the YOUMAKER complete case, and I must say, its probbaly the best case I've bought for a phone, its a little fiddly to fit, and as some people have mentioned, the button covers take a little lining up as you press the 2 peices of the case together. But once fitted it dosn't make the phone look too bulky and the screen cover looks as though its not there at all. The screen cover does not affect the touch sensitivity at all. My only crtisisms are: when the phone is not in use, you can see finger marks all over the screen, not really an issue though, and the charger/headphone ports could be covered to keep dirt out. All in all, a very good quality case, I have yet to try the phone on a wireless charger so cannot comment if it works or not. Update: the case can be left on the phone and used with a wireless charger.

I love this case. Makes u phone a little bigger but not so its unmanageable. The built in screen protector is what i was after more. Had to have a fiddle around to get the buttons work, u just have to get the new buttons in the right position. I've never spent this amount on a phone case before, not sure it's worth that amount but it is a good buy. Chargers still fit well, plenty of room to plug it in

All round one of the best cases out there for the S9 plus. Screen protector is perfect and anyone can do this without the worry of messing it up. Very response too and havent had to adjust screen sensitivity and buttons are clear and clicky. It's also a good looking case unlike some of the ones on the market which look like there built for war, it's good to see some of the actual phone. Only downside I would say is that port covers would have been nice and you have to remove the case now and again to clear bits that get under screen and back cover.

I had the older version of this and I loved it however it was bulky so I upgraded to this one. I'm very impressed it still protects all of you phone but allows you to see more of the phone its self is slimmer and easier to hold. It feels very unlikely to break but if it ever did I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Excellent case so far. Can't fault itMake sure you take all of the protective films off tho, one on each side of every part!
