I bought this because of features I thought would help my deaf puppy.She was born deaf so I have been anxious about making sure she can understand hand signals. This has worked great when she is LOOKING AT ME.But when she is running around outside, she is not paying attention to me.So I needed something.This is fantastic. Collar size is very adjustable.The BUZZ feature turned all the way up readily gets her attention and I have trained her that means COME HOME. She can be pretty far out in the pasture and it still works.At night, I can hit the LIGHT feature and see where she is.The tone is the worst though. Very very quiet and now that I have had it a few months, it no longer works.She even goes swimming in our creek with it... no issue (except the tone part) with waterproof or durability.It was cool though because the OTHER DOGS (I have 12) started to realize when they heard that tone to come home. Oh well!The shock works but I never use it. Battery life is terrific. I charge it about once every 2 weeks.It can be used on 2 dogs but I don't need that. The controller is easy to use and understand.Anyway, My sis also has a deaf dog and I got one for her. It is fantastic.P.S. It does NOT go 4 miles... I think the Chinese have no idea what a mile is. More like maybe 100-150 yds.

One of the best training devices I've ever used. I have a large property, and a 6 month old Black and Tan Hound. As most hounds are, she is very curious and needs to roam. The PawPro Ultimate Color offers all the features looking for. The light is fantastic for early morning and late night roaming. She responding very well to the audible and vibration alerts. Has only been shocked twice in 3 weeks and feel, at this point, it won't be necessary to use the shock again. The audible alert for the most part is enough to get her attention. If she does get a little headstrong the vibration alert brings her in without hesitation.

The first product of this sort that we bought on Amazon worked horribly and did not function at all as described. So out son recommended this product from his successful past use on his German Shepard.It Works great with our just on the vibration and beep training. We had a horrible problem with him running off and being disobedient from a neighbors female dog in heat. So it caused him, at any deathly risk, to escape and disappear, and are always with him if he is outside. So far we have only had to use the shock once, although at first the shock did not affect him due to his thick coat.The beep training has amazingly changed him. In most cases, one beep he immediately returns to our side, and he is not quite 1yrs old.

Great product and id recommend it to others. I have two dogs and it works well for both of them. It has multiple sound types so you can pick which one you like best. A few weeks in and my pups are already recalling well with just the audible option. My younger lab only needed three nicks with the electric to understand what the communication meant. The intensity of the electric and vibration is easily adjustable and my pups only needed very subtle settings. Off leash is now more enjoyable again. I left one star off as I wish you could talk to both pups at the same time instead of switching to dog 1 or dog 2. Understanding that may not work for most people I’d buy this again especially for the price. So far it’s been a great overall product.

I love the paw pro collar!I use it to teach my dog to heel and not pull or bark excessively while on a leash.I have only used the beep/vibrate functions and because those have been so effective in training my dog I have yet to even touch the shock function.I highly recommend this product!

It worked wonders. After the first 2 or 3 days of adaptation Leo started to engage in a completely different way. Our walks are so much better and he is able to run wild as he likes. Thanks!

I've purchased many different dog shock collars in the past 10 years, I must say this has probably been the best so far. I bought this back in December, and didn't even charge it for the first month of use. They battery life on this collar is really good. I've had it for about 5 months and only need to charge it once a month. Good range and works well. So far I'm very happy with it especially for the price!

Let’s start with what I love about this collar. First off the beep has multiple levels (I just use 8 because it’s one loud beep) and that’s all I need for the most part to get her attention. It has been VERY successful for off leash walking already as she loves to explore. I have no idea how far it truly goes but it’s plenty for us (she sticks by very close anyway). The reasons I’m only giving 4 stars is because I thought I was getting a training guide BOOKLET or something along those lines and it’s just a PDF file. Very hard to ready on my phone and I didn’t find it helpful. I also don’t like that it beeps very loud when shutting it off as that confuses my dog. I also wish the light had an option to stay on. You have to hold the button if you want the light to stay on.Overall I’m satisfied. This is our FOURTH E-collar (lost the remote, dipped one in the lake, and lost a collar 😂) I do love how many setting there are. You just have to measure around with it to figure it all out. Super easy to use, safe (we all tested the “shock” my husband did it on 99) and very easy to adjust/fit to my dog!
