Great Cold Brew option, large(ish) batch 2gal
So far so good. Used every 2 weeks for about 3 months now its held up well, cleans up nicely with a simple rinse and once a month a boil (probably unnecessary, but it seems to keep the staining down). I usually just give it a quick rinse and again after I turn it inside out after discarding my spent grinds into compost. Then I store it damp in a small plastic freezer bag in the freezer until I need it next use, in which case a quick rinse under running water thaws it and makes it usable again (read this on the interweb, helps increase longevity and pore size compared to constantly letting it dry out). Fits my 2gallon Mason jar perfectly and has held up to almost 2 lbs of coarse ground bean each time (I use mine for cold brew, loose grind and H2O in one container, and I strain that through said Mason jar with sock attached so it catches all the grinds (and a ton of sediment!).Would definitely purchase again, although I dont forsee needing a new one due to deterioration for quite some time given what I've seen of quality so far. Wish they made a 5 gallon sock...

Great to pour over a cup of ice and milk ...
We are coffee enthusiasts and have a very expensive espresso setup which we use during the winter (Rancilio Silvia and Gaggia Espresso for back up). But during the summer we drink iced coffee and used this to make cold pressed iced espresso. Add 4-5 cups of coarse ground beans (approx. 1 bag of pre-ground from the store) to coffee sock, then seal and place coffee sock in 1 gallon pitcher. Fill pitcher to top with water and place on counter (away from sunlight) or in refrigerator for 15-30 hours (longer is better). Remove coffee sock from pitcher, empty and clean under cold running water, then air dry. After coffee is brewed, keep fresh in refrigerator.Coffee comes out near espresso strength. Great to pour over a cup of ice and milk in the summer. We enjoy Lavazza Super Crema beans, but Starbucks beans from the grocery store are delicious too. I have read that it will last a while, but it never goes more than a week in our house before getting finished.

I love cold brew!
I fill up about 1.5 gallon container with this filter and that typically lasts me about 2-3 weeks. It's super easy to use. Just use coarse ground coffee, dump a whole pound in, follow the instructions on the label, and you got yourself some cold brew! Cleaning is easy too - just need to rinse it out. Been usually it for the past 5 months and it's still in good shape.

Not worth the effort of price.
Not worth the effort. Easier to just mix the coffee and water. The sleeve does not allow for enough saturation of the grounds. Buy a strainer to simplify removing the grounds and move on!
