Better than nothing
The controls are rather cumbersome to cycle through, can be very aggravating to review a recording. The video quality is decent in daylight but night time it’s poor. Viewing license plates can be difficult but not impossible. I kept it for proving light color, right of way, and other obvious things that would help in the event of an accident. The audio is pretty good so long as the radio is low, you could easily hear a conversation if your pulled over. Personally I wouldn’t purchase it again but for the $39 it’s adequate.

Do not buy this dash cam - it's made very cheaply.
Terrible piece of junk. Wouldn't charge or take a sim card. Also, Amazon has reviews for pizza pans instead of for a dash cam.

Works
It works. Had a moment where it kept looping every 9 seconds but I charged the battery a bit and it's worked fine ever since. Can't complain for the price and video quality. The 170 degree view was a must for my SUV.
