Great wax for fancy moustaches.
This was great stuff. It was firmer than the wax I used before this so it took some adjustment, but it held better throughout longer periods of time. I just wish I could place the smell. It was caramel mixed with, I don't know what. Smelled great though.

Excellent hold and good color for blondes, too!
I purchased this wax on my last deployment so I could grown an absurdly out-of-regulations handlebar moustache. It had excellent holding capabilities and a very mild, pleasant smell (which is important, since it's right under your nose all day). I would leave the tin on my transformer, which probably kept it at about 100 degrees F (maybe a little warmer) and it combed right it and styled easily, despite the exceptionally bristled nature of my facial hair.I have blonde hair, and my facial hair grows in with an oh so slight reddish hue. The darkness of this wax did not alter the color of my moustache at all. I can't imagine anyone would need the light wax unless he has a white or platinum blonde moustache. You'll want a good moustache comb to go with it - forget the cheap plastic molded combs that claw at your lip and check out the Kent 81T

Great for a few hours at a time, pleasant scent
Doesn't seem to last very long. I work 24hr shifts and find myself applying 3 times a day to get it to hold. In cold weather the wax turns whiteish and is very visible in moustach. Does a pleasant scent.

rolls and cakes like a hard wax
weird stuff. very hard and does not blend or become pliable at all when rubbed between pointer finger and thumb. rolls and cakes like a hard wax. maybe what I received was old. Even tried adding water to make it pliable but to no avail.

A little hard to manage, but great wax!
This stuff holds tight! It's a true was, like the description says, and stays in all day/night...That being said, it is MUCH more difficult to apply than your typical "wax"; it takes some real getting used to...I hear it up with some friction from my thumb first; swirling it around in the tin. Get a little on my thumb & forefinger (careful not to apply too much at once, or it globs up) and rub it in the edge of my stache... Every now and then I'll have to hold/pinch the parts that didn't turn out so well (to warm up the wax) and start over...Great product!.. I don't even mess with the lighter hold stuff anymore...

Not for me
I wanted to like this product, but the wax was just too stiff and hard to work with. I had to rub it quite a bit to warm it up enough to work with it. When I did get it worked into my mustache, it held very well, but it was just too hard for my taste. It is obviously quality ingredients and it has a pleasant odor, but it's not for me.

Firefighter Review
I'm don't really have anything to compare it too since this was my first stab at a waxed mustache. I am a firefighter so I thought I would give this one a try based on that. I'm always looking to support my fellow firefighters. I will say that it has kind of a neutral smell, which is good seeing how it is under your nostrils all day. I have naturally curly hair and a few grays in the stache and this product tames it quite well. Also, I wash my face and brush my teeth several times a day and it holds despite getting warm soapy water on it. I work a 24 hour shift and it is usually still holding (albeit slightly weaker) the next morning when I get off shift. I have gotten quite a few comments since I started using the wax. It gives it a more finished look. I will probably buy this again.

Works well
It holds mustache hairs in place and does not have a strong or over powering smell.
